Well, you've read the notes, the notes were revised, and now it is time for you to post until the revised cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: STANCHLESS!
-
Good evening, all.

TOD
Don’t Leave Me This Way by Thelma Houston
It’s in a category all by itself. And I love disco.
-
I love disco, too!
-
Donna Summer and ABBA were probably my favorite disco performers.
-
Today is my mom's birthday. The family is getting together to celebrate that and Father's Day a day early. I was asked to come over earlier than my sister so that I can mow my parents' lawn. Since my mom had foot surgery, she shouldn't be mowing the lawn. My dad is older and hasn't been able to mow the lawn for years. Now, it's my turn.
-
After that, I'm heading north in the early evening for the third day in a row. Tonight, I'm going to see Kathy Griffin live in Seattle! I'll need to make sure that I leave early enough in case of traffic. I can't wait! :D
-
Have a good day, all!
-
Good morning, all!
-
I have little to report. This is a funeral day, so around 10 I'll head for 14th Street.
-
Worst movie of 2018?
https://nypost.com/2018/06/15/gotti-flick-is-the-worst-mob-movie-of-all-time/?utm_campaign=iosapp&utm_source=facebook_app
-
Good morning, all.
-
Not much to report here, either. Got a decent sleep and a slightly later waking up time this morning. That's all for the good.
Now to figure out what to make of my day.
-
Vibes for DR ELMORE.
Continued vibes for DR CHAS SMITH and congrats on the millstone.
VOICE VIBES for MR BK.
Ralphs....no apostrophe.
-
As Reuben in THE DARK AT THE TOP OF THE STAIRS would say:
"Some folks are just too damned ignorant to live."
Last night the wig/no wig, wash my dress/can't do a hitch kick lady turned in her book and said: "I erased all my pencil markings.....there were other markings in the book when I got it, so I didn't erase those....."
It will NOT be hard to say goodbye to her and a few others tonight at the final ANNIE performance.....
-
Saturday morning greetings! It's hot and muggy in SW Ohio, with an air quality alert. Sounds like a good day to stay inside in the AC...
-
Good morning.
-
Our BIG OMG RAINSTORM has turned out to be the scent of rain and cloudy skies. Accuweather says we have had .22 inches of rain, but there is not even a portion of a drop in my rain gauge.
-
The internet problems continue. Keith is tire of speaking with the people in India.

TOD:
Turn the Beat Around
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=44pYL9-XOW0
-
I'm up, I'm up - about six hours of sleep.
-
TOD:
I think Barry Gibb is the king of them all, but "I Will Survive" by Gloria Gaynor is probably my favorite song. I don't love disco, but I don't hate it either - I'm sort of indifferent.
-
Hmmmm - she of the Evil Eye has not arrived yet - most unusual.
-
And now she has.
-
DR KevinH - I’m afraid tomorrow isn’t going to work for me getting into the city.
Next time, hopefully!
-
A Comcast tech is here. Fingers crossed.
-
Internet vibes for DR JANE.
-
And then of course in honor of the TOD, there is this:

We didn't win......

I love most disco music and dancing....it was a fun era....
Many folks doing the Hustle:

-
Here's the song Debby and I were "dancing" to:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wsEOln3KIGg
And no discussion of Disco would be complete with the Bee Gees and this guy:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hFnRqkax44Q
-
It was much less embarrassing to dance the Disco in the 70's and 80's when I was 45 pounds lighter and had a partner who knew left from right and up from down.....
-
Page's memorial service was quite wonderful. I saw friends I had not seen in years, and there were some lovely memories of Page. Michael Korie, who wrote the lyrics for Grey Gardens and War Paint, was probably Page's oldest friend in the City, and he mentioned our "Just Good Friends" rehearsals in his living room around 1981.
-
I was floored at the number of people who asked about Annabelle and Thatch.

This is fun!
(Is it the same video as on the other linked page? or a different point of view on the same number?)
-
Kevin - just PM'd you a question re Sunday afternoon.
-
Back from a light breakfast, then picking up no packages or mail.
-
Phlegm still breaking up and the weather is cold today (this is definitely part of the problem, allergy-wise - going from 95 to 65), but voice might just feel a bit stronger today, can't quite tell yet.
-
Keep those vibes coming. The tech guy said it was our new modem, replaced it and “fixed” the problem. Shortly after he left the internet went diwn again.
-
Those abrupt weather changes bother my allergies.
-
Was just reading some of the most amusing reviews of the new movie Gotti, which has a rather astonishing 0% favorable rating on Rotten Tomatoes. But you know what to expect when a movie takes eight years to get made, with three directors dropping out, lots of lies about who was joining John Travolta in the cast, and a final budget of ten million bucks, which basically means everyone did it for almost nothing. And you know what to expect when there are - now wait for this one - forty-four credited producers. That figure alone tells you everything that's wrong with the movie business today.
-
DR Ginny, your package arrived today. Thanks!
-
Today, while I was sitting at Lincoln Center waiting for the No 11 bus to come down Columbus Avenue, DR Ginny's double walked past me. It was scary.
-
DR Ginny, your package arrived today. Thanks!
That was fast - I just mailed it Thursday afternoon!
-

LOL, I’m sure it was!
-
We are having a doozy of a thunderstorm, with rain coming down in sheets.

Is that the storm DR Laura was "expecting"?
-
We had errands to do today which did not get done. The tech guy will be returning between 4:00 & 6:00. At least Keith got the wifi to work so we can use the computers.
-
A new tech guy is here.
-
DR Ginny just sent me Loyce's obituary. Thanks so much!

-
You’re welcome, DR Elmore. It will probably be in the paper tomorrow, but I remembered that my mom’s was on the funeral home website beforehand.
-
I don't have enough speed to open it right now. I will read it later.
Again, my condolences to you both on the loss of your friend.
-
Had a really fun work session with Peyton and Hartley - little Peyton has really great instincts - had to do very little with here. I now have to really rest my voice because I've been using it most of the afternoon. Then Peyton and her mom and I went to Tony's Bella Vista - Doug joined us. I had my carbonara. And now I'm in for the evening doing nothing but listening to music.
-
I went to the garage earlier and brought in another twenty jazz CDs.
-

Nice.
-
I'm in Seattle at The Moore Theatre waiting to see Live and in Person Kathy Griffin!! The place is filled and quite loud! I took a few pictures of the theater and her pre-show projections. I'll post some when I get home, or maybe just after the show.
-
Be back later!
-
But before I go...

PAGE THREE KATHY GRIFFIN DANCE!!

I was floored at the number of people who asked about Annabelle and Thatch.
Sweet.
I am glad the service was special.
-
We were watching OUTLANDER on a Netfix DVD but it kept freezing, kind of fitting considering the day we have had.
-
Let me get this straight - we JUST got to page three at midnight east coast time? This will not end prettily.
-
Okay, really, I'm irritated enough with this damn voice and phlegm business, which is raging this evening, and to come here and barely be on page three? Not for me, chums, not for me.
-
I've been listening to a lot of Modern Jazz Quartet and hacking away and not feeling well at all. I've taken all my preventatives and more I cannot do - constantly clearing the throat because there always seems to be something there even when there really isn't. This has to stop.
-
Bruce, you need some goldenseal. It's an herb that's very effective at drying you out. You may find it coupled with echinacea, which is fine, but don't take goldenseal if you don't need drying out or you'll end up too dry.
Hope it's better soon.
-
Jane, I've been watching THE LEVEL, a British cop series on Acorn TV. It's quite good.
-
Voice and phlegm vibes for Bruce!
-
Good night.
-
Good evening.
-
Page 3?
-
Really?
-
I am having WIFI problems tonight.
-
I don’t know if I can post for long.
-
By myself.
-
George is in Seattle.
-
And all the rest in bed.
-
I have no ability to speed thru these posts.
-
A pretty day today.
-
Highs in the 70’s.
-
Mid-80’s tomorrow.
-
Happy Father’s Day to the East Coast.
-
I keep thinking today is Sunday.
-
I am very confused.
-
Well, I am old.
-
Nicky is not liking this typing.
-
And more to go.
-
Forward march!
-
One more post.
-
Page 4?
-
This is not good.
-
My O key is broken.
-
Page 4?
-
Seriously?
-
I have to hit the O key repeatedly to make it work.
-
So many words have O’s in them.
-
My sister and my niece went to Eastern Washington today.
-
Hopefully, they had a safe drive.
-
My nephew may be able to be transferred to Westen Washington soon.
-
He should find out this month.
-
That would be nice.
-
I would like to visit him.
-
Tomorrow, I have no plans.
-
Voice and phlegm vibes for Bruce!
~~~Ditto!!~~~
-
I may drive south and try to find my cousin’s new house.
-
I just left the almost three, count 'em, THREE hour Kathy Griffin show!
-
It is only about 17 miles away.
-
She was fantastic!
-
She never stopped and the extremely filled house loved every minute!
-
I just left the almost three, count 'em, THREE hour Kathy Griffin show!
Wow! She was the whole show?
-
I am glad you enjoyed it.
-
I need to hook up the air conditioner tomorrow.
-
I'm now leaving the parking garage, so I won't be back until I get back to Tumwater.
-
Hi, George.
-
Glad you enjoyed the Scottish play.
-
Drive safely.
-
How do you feel about posting while driving?
-
Not a good idea.
-
One more post.
-
Page 5
-
Page 5? Finally?
-
I have decided to cancel my Freshly meals.
-
They were healthy.
-
I just cancel every week because there are the occasional weeks where I enjoy having it here.
-
And some of them were pretty good
-
Well, at least we made page five.
-
I've just learned to double up on the meals I like.
-
But not enough of them appealed to me.
-
I might try that.
-
But the price is a bit much.
-
But I will think about it.
-
I want to scope out my options at the supermarket.
-
I like the convenience.
-
Just received an email from my senior prom date.
-
The prom was 50 years ago.
-
Talk about slow mail service! :D
-
My fingers are very tired.
-
Good night, BK.
-
Sweet dreams to one and all.
