Also at the Visulite, I saw a double feature of CABARET and SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE. Of course, I had seen CABARET when it first came out, but had never seen SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE (paired due to Michael York).

Another famous pairing: THE BOYS IN THE BAND with THE DAMNED.

Another famous pairing: FELLINI SATYRICON with FELLINI'S ROMA

Another famous pairing:  THE VIKINGS and TRAPEZE.
At the valley Art, I saw "Something for Everyone," and "Fortune and men's Eyes."   Quite an education fo a 16 year old!  Although I was already quite educated in some ways.

Just finished watching the Jerome Robbins special - I had no idea what a black heart beat in Ed Sullivan's chest!

Could it be a heartbeat, or was it a lovebeat?

I had a pretty good evening of entertainment. I began by watching the remaining episodes of RICK & STEVE. There was one hilarious one set on Mother's Day with the mothers of Rick and Steve having a smackdown about their son's relationship. (Steve's mom is completely homophobic.)

I still think that WIZARD OF OZ episode (#2) was the best one of the season. I was laughing from beginning to end.

RICK & STEVE had a great line-up of guest stars this season, too, doing voice roles. Just look:

Margaret Cho (who's really a regular), Lance Bass, Jennifer Coolidge, Andy Dick, Bruce Vilanch, Coco Peru, George Takei, Laraine Newman, Kimberly Locke, Perez Hilton, Alec Mapa, RuPaul, Robert Gant, Jason Lewis, Tori Spelling, and Mark Hamill.

Next, since I had started rewatching the season two ending episode of THE CLOSER, I put that back in and finished it. I love those two December shows that ended the second season.

And I ended my evening early (I had to get back upstairs and finish writing up my work project for the day) by watching Wednesday night's LAW & ORDER. An interesting episode as always, but why they waste time having Sam Waterston supposedly in the race of his life for D.A., I don't know. It's not like they're going to write him out of the show.

Eyes are feeling very heavy, so I think I'll head downstairs now and put myself to bed.

Good night!

That's the one with "Elaine" played by Debra Mooney - who has since popped up on Psych, Pushing Daisies, Cold Case, ER and Eleventh Hour; I'd know that voice anywhere!

I have nothing to say, except that I wasted this beautiful day being inside at a meeting. And I dislike vision statements, mission statements, et al.

I not only dislike them, I loathe and abominate them. They suck all the life out of an organization. People become obsessed with the mission statements and value statments and vision and forget what the f*** they set out to do. It's all about how it sounds on the page (Web or otherwise).

I just finished watching a charming movie on dvd:  Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na.  I'm almost certain that DR MBarnum recommended it to me, if he didn't, then I'll recommend it to him and any other DRs.

Time to go back to the DVR - that way I'll avoid the sight of blood when BK returns to page 7

My head and neck were hurting so much that I had to take a long hot shower.  It helped. I think the advil cold and sinus did to.

I"m watching Into Great Silence.  The documentary about the Chartruse Monestary.  It's fascinating to watch a film that is all natural sounds and the only spoken words are in song or prayer

I did notice that one of the monks was talking to the cats he was feeding. I wonder if he got in trouble for that

DR Kerry, I had to laugh at your post yesterday about singing to Sugar.  If only people could hear me around the house.   The cats favorites are "I See Kitties" (to the tune of I Feel Pretty) and "If There's a Kitty in the House"  a little ditty I make up as I go along.  Then there's always the "Mommy's Home Tune" and well....I sing to them about everything.

I have done "if your happy and you know it say meow" and Boo does Meow to that one

I do like my Roku player to play the Netflix instant movies.  I'm watching more obscure things - like this documentary - because I can just click and watch and if I don't like it stop it and it doesn't cost me anything

DR Danise hasn't been here or on her facebook page since February 9. Does anyone have a way to get in touch with her via phone? Has anyone heard from her?

I'm about ready to take some NyQuil and go to sleep.  I really want to beat this cold or whatever it is before I leave on Wednesday.  It's been more of a headache so far.  Maybe if I get some more rest it will go away
