Yea! for Skip's great Herringbone notice!

DR JoseSPiano, very glad that you were not seriously injured.  Are those hands insured by Lloyd's of London?

DR TCB, are you going to post photos of your neighbor's arms?  :)

ColeSlaw, once again you took the post right out of my typing fingers...Appropriate vibes to those that needs 'em (okay, I admit I'm cheating...)

Very shocked and disappointed by your lease news, DR Elmore. "Raped" is as good a word as any for the treatment you guys have received. I am truly sorry.

We had a long, late lunch, and at the end of it, nothing was as yet decided about THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE. I'm tending to think that it's not going to happen, but we'll see. I do have the next two nights open, so if plans get made quickly, I will have no conflicts.

My friend John had the afternoon off, so he brough over his special edition of A FEW GOOD MEN and we watched it. This must be a newer transfer than the one I have. The menus are totally different, and the color looks more saturated than on my copy.

I had read Columbia/Sony was going to issue it on Blu-ray this summer, so I'll hold out for that. Tonight, I'll probably slip my copy in the player to see if the mental comparisons I was trying to do were accurate with the copy I saw this afternoon.

I believe Boo-Key's opening night is June 29th...

Correct, sir (Ed McMahon reference)  -- he share's his Cabaret opening with DR Jorge's Shrew opening next Friday...what a shame we don't have any millionaires on this site with a plane to jet us all to see our friends theatrical talents around the country.

Tonight, I'll try to get to last week's STUDIO 60 before tonight's new episode comes on. Hate to get more than a week behind on any shows.

I found it odd that none of the Broadway boys had met their boss in person until departing for Europe a week ago.

It's almost time for me to leave work.  My book group meets tonight, not to discuss a particular book, but for "What's in Your Book Bag?"  We'll do kind of a show and tell of other stuff we've been reading besides what's assigned for the group each month.  Maybe we'll get some ideas for books to read together.

TOD: Tornado coming -- not just one, but several
Walking into a class in high school or college -- end of year, final, and I have not been to
that class, never got the books, etc,  so in no way am I prepared to take that test.

Best dreams -- dreaming about people from your past that you no longer see or can see -- especially when you're all younger like high school/childhood days

It's a good thing tomorrow's an information-waitressing day for me, because I have that restless inability to concentrate that I always get right before leaving for a conference/vacation.

Well, he SURE knows YOU!  And just adores you -- referring to you constantly as my flower, my pet, my darling -- and usually with the adjective "lovely"

Heading down now to read a little and then play catch-up on some things I wanted to watch this afternoon but put aside when we watched A FEW GOOD MEN.

I cleaned the bedroom areas this morning, so that little work effort is behind me.

Oh, here is a dream that I still have often...I dream that it turns out that I did not actually graduate from high school...it is discovered that I am shy a few credits in math or some such class that sends shivers down my spine, and I have to return to school.

I hate having this dream as it always terrifies me...I keep thinking it will come true.

or does the "ly" make that an adverb -- this grammar and spelling stuff always gets me -- no, in this context I'm pretty sure lovely would be an adjective -- yes, an adjective...

Oh, here is a dream that I still have often...I dream that it turns out that I did not actually graduate from high school...it is discovered that I am shy a few credits in math or some such class that sends shivers down my spine, and I have to return to school.

I used to have this dream frequently. Although I'm sure it's symbolic of something, like not feeling prepared to face a challenge, etc., I was able to find a solution that seemed to make it not as frequent.

Although I graduated from college, I left in the middle of the year to work on a movie (the one with G.W Bailey!) so I didn't go through graduation. The university mailed me my diploma and I don't think I ever bothered to open the envelope. At one point I even thought I might have lost it.

Anyway, I went on a search through the house and finally found it, opened it up, and looked at it for a good while. I really DID graduate!

Having this tangible reminder seemed to make the dream occurence lessen. Or maybe I'm just older and more prepared to deal with the unknown!  :)
