Aside from seaweed, which I've had and am OK with, I'm with DR George. In other words, no thanks.

TOD:

Beef heart
Beef tongue
Chicken feet
Tripe (in both Menudo and Chiltlins (sp) )
Fried Gizzard
Fish head and tail
Frog legs
Eel
Pigs Feet
Abalone
Snails
Quail Eggs
Snake
Squirrel (I feel guilty about that one)
Seaweed
Fish roe
Sea Urchin

I am a very adventurous eater, and would only draw the line at eating something that was still alive.

Really?  Was that Menudo or menudo?

Today my work project will be the Blu-ray of the final 90 minute episode of PRISON BREAK called THE LAST BREAK. I've never watched a second of the show, but Fox must think that people will be able to follow the plot and figure out character relationships if they're releasing the final episode on Blu-ray. I'm going to read the backstory on the character before I start watching, however. I want to be as fair to the program as I can.

I'm curious about this dvd and sort of anxious to see it.  I think my library should get it in a few weeks (they have all the other Prison Breaks).

I don't know if they will explain the story. I can't really imagine that too many people would watch this who haven't ever seen the show.

At the end of Season 4 they jumped ahead a number of years. And this dvd that you have is supposed to fill in those blanks.  I'll bet you can probably follow along with just finding out how the show ended. Although like Lost, the 4 seasons of Prison Break had a lot going on!

DR MattH re: your comments yesterday on Y&R

Do you actually think that adam is bisexual?  I really have no idea if he was just screwing around with rafe. Or if he ended up realizing he might like it.  And i have no idea if the writers will even pursue this. Or perhaps they will have rafe move on to P3???  I really find P3 way too old for rafe (to me rafe seems like an early twenties kid). But i find it hard to believe they would introduce 2 gay characters and not have them interact.

No, Jennifer, I do NOT think that Adam is bisexual. That's why I put the word in quotes when I wrote it.

I wondered if some people think he might be bisexual. Because I would suspect most totally straight men would not be having sex with other men, even if it did suit their diabolical plans!

Speaking of jumping ahead, I was wondering what people thought about GHOST WHISPERER jumping ahead five years, and including a five year old child who may or may not have powers.

Is this really jumping ahead, or is it jumping the shark?

I am curious who will get voted out of So You Think You Can Dance tonight.

It sort of bugs me that certain teams get such amazing choreography (brandon and jeanine's contemporary and ade/melissa's breast cancer routine come to mind). While others have just average choreography.

I watched a cute movie tonight, HOTEL FOR DOGS. It's rated G, and more of a family type movie. But if you like dogs, i think a lot of people would find this very cute. It stars emma roberts, who i thought was impressive. You just can't take your eyes off of her.  It's a real feel-good movie.

Grrrrr... Last night I bought 6 absolutely beautiful tree-ripened peaches.  I stupidly put them in a bowl on top of a couple of red delicious apples and today they are all over ripe and almost mushy.

D'oh!

Both...and they're just copying "Desperate Housewives."

:P is what I say...but I'll still watch it. ::)

HEALTH VIBES FOR DR JEANNE!

Jeanne, did your doctor have her surgery & how is she?

Jane, yes, she did. It was difficult at first, but last I heard she was doing better. She's like me--neither one of us tolerates drugs well. I really hope she pulls through, because I'd hate to lose her as my primary doc. Thanks for asking and thanks for the vibes.

I recently watched an old British TV series called MELISSA. Well done and intriguing. Those who enjoy "gaslight" stories will probably enjoy it.

(Now where's TCB? Somehow it feels like he would have a response to this.)

Good evening all.  I am pleased to report that I am feeling much better.  My tummy is still tender and not wanting much besides rice, crackers, and applesauce, but everything is staying down at least.  Thank you all for the vibes!

And, in return,

Back from cat sitting.  One was very friendly toward me.

The other was reticent.  Oh yes, she was reticent.

On our way to visit John this afternoon, we went downtown for Richard to shop at the church supply store that's across the street from my former workplace.  I visited my co-workers and one of them said, "Well, you got off the Titanic just in time!"

Never ever, ever, look inside the burrito just ordered off the lunch truck near work.  Big mistake as half the things inside had to be removed before I could roll it back up and eat it.  I was really hungry.
