Reading about M&Ms in the freezer made me think about keeping chocolate bars in the fridge. My sister and her husband like to do this. I don't like cold chocolate! Do other people keep their chocolates in the fridge?

And am I the only one who has never heard of putting chocolates in the freezer. What does it do? And do the chocolates taste the same when you take them out of the freezer?

DR Elmore, that oaf is really getting on my nerves. Did the landlord ever reply to you?  This would drive me crazy. I'm not sure how you cope.

Morning, all!

TOD: The only WWII movies I've seen were Holocaust-themed, rather than spy-based (Schindler's List, Life is Beautiful), so not much to go on there.

Other than York Peppermint Patties, I've never really felt the need to freeze chocolates. One of my friends used to rave about frozen Snickerses, but they never did anything for me.

I watched MY NAME IS JULIA ROSS last night.

I'd never seen it before and, truthfully, I was very disappointed

(Sorry BK)

Frankly, despite any faults, I like DEAD OF WINTER much better.

The performances, particularly by my late former client (Nina Foch), are fine, but the script is a mess.  There is absolutely not logic whatsoever to it.  The characters' actions/reactions are totally unbelievable.

Perhaps it was a great thriller in its day, but it certainly doesn't hold up.

Sorry about what?  I don't even think I've seen My Name Is Julia Ross - or have I?

Hello, everyone.

I am hobbling better today, so I drove to the lab and had my blood drawn for some routine tests (such as my cholesterol). The colorful lab tech has been replaced by a very dull one.

Perhaps I'm mistaken.

I thought you commented awhile back on how much better MY NAME IS JULIA ROSS was than DEAD OF WINTER.

BTW: Your book is on the way.

Had a nice IV with Darin Brooks.  There may be a major new film musical in the works, but more I cannot say at this time.

DR Elmore, that oaf is really getting on my nerves. Did the landlord ever reply to you?  This would drive me crazy. I'm not sure how you cope.

No, DR Jennifer, there's been no response from the landlord. I cope essentially by fantasizing brutally killing the Oaf in the various ways:
  1. waiting till I hear him around 5am go out to walk the dog and butchering him in the elevator
  2. waiting till he goes out around 5am, climbing the fire escape, killing whoever's in his bed and waiting for him to return to kill him
  3. knocking on his door and when he opens it, attacking him with a weapon, something will will not only kill but hurt

What I want to do is initiate an email trail of complaints, then taking the landlord to court and suing his ass off for doing nothing. I'm also thinking of going to the police precinct next week, when I'm out of the studio and tell them my concerns about possible drug dealing between 11pm and 4am.
