There's another Michel I adore--Michel Colombier. BK probably knows him as a film composer, but he was a fantastic arranger first, starting out in musique concrete with Pierre Henry, then moving into pop for Petula Clark and then for Lani Hall and even later Flora Purim, and he wrote the magnficient jazz rock pseudo-oratorio Wings for A&M Records. He sadly passed away at a young age (late 50s IIRC) a couple of years ago from cancer.
