Just as my movie was getting exciting I received a phone call from my doctors office telling me that the blood test I had the other day revealed something "dangerously high" as well as an elevated PSA....don't know what either thing means, but they are needing me to see a specialist right soon, they said. Evidently the specialist's office will be calling me next week to make an appointment.

So, wasn't too happy to get this news at the beginning of my long weekend, although it is likely nothing to worry about.

Oddly enough, my video entitled "A Walk Through the Indianapolis Airport" has over 1200 views. I have no idea who would search for something like that.

In other news, on Sunday I am taking my grand-niece Taylor to see her  first Broadway (tour) musical...MEMPHIS. We are both looking very forward to it!

"Kim the Cat Calls Her Kittens" has over 1500 views. Actually, I have had two very nice emails from people who have "lost" tiny kittens and they searched for a video of a mother cat for the audio. The kittens came out of hiding when they heard the mother calling.

I'm sorry for your bad phone call, MBarnum. I hope you can get in to see the specialist right away and that it turns out to not be serious.

I hate it when that happens.  I only enjoy the quiet equipment use, myself.

;D

After listening to it all afternoon, plus the stinky oven cleaner setting, I had to get out of here.  Our bedroom was cool and quiet and I finished reading "Lady Audley's Secret".

I guess I'm done for the day and will stay in for the evening rather than trek to the Gardenia - I've already seen this particular Marcovicci show.

Well, you could stuff it with faux shrimp-flavored tofu. I have bacon salt that's vegan, so I guess anything's possible.

I think I will pass thank you. ;D

PSA test results can be false positive so don't panic.  Also search on things not to do, and to do before taking the test.  You might read the list and decide to request a re-take.

Well, yes, you could use bass or probably any kind of fish you'd like. (And I'm a little snippy s--t tonight, too.  ;) )

I am now settling  down to watch INSAAN AUR SHAITAN (Human of Devil; 1970). It looks to be a fun, B movie action picture.

Lobster was cheaper than beef this week, so I cooked lobster for the first time tonight. It wasn't like a scene in "Annie Hall," but it wasn't the fun most I've ever had cooking. That said, the lobsters were wonderful. Somehow "The Glamorous Life" from "A Little Night Music" playing in the background, a bottle of finely aged fume' blanc and some coleslaw all made for a perfect meal. I was even nice enough to give the bird a bite. He wanted more. He only got the tiniest bit more.

Good!  I still suggest reading the to do & not to do list because the specialist might suggest a needless biopsy.

TOD: I am ashamed to admit that while we were in the motel, we watched some reality show with Simon and Britney Spears judging singers. Other than that, we watched the Weather Channel, which has interesting stuff.

The X Factor. I actually enjoyed the new judges.

I left my sister's house at 8:30pm it was not raining. I had to pick something up at the library. By the time i got there 10 minutes later it was pouring. And my umbrella flipped over and broke. That has never happened to me before. :(

I am excited. Tomorrow a bunch of women authors are doing a big book signing at a bookstore near me. Two of the authors I read a lot. And I've heard lots about the books of another 2 or 3. Should be very interesting. Need to remember my camera.

Nope, the lobsters are supercheap this year. $6 for a 2-pounder.
