DR John I saw a video on facebook and thought of you.  Unfortunately I can't open it to post here.  A man is having fun dancing and his partner is his reflection in the mirror.

Elmore, did you know David Schramm? He was in the Finian's Rainbow revival you worked on. He was also Mr. Mister in The Cradle Will Rock revival with Patti LuPone. Oh, and a TV show called Wings. He died this week.

Starting "Fort Apache" with John Wayne, Henry Fonda and Shirley Temple, because, well, I never miss a Shirley Temple western.

Picked up some barbecue for dinner. Ribs, brisket and sausage with mac and cheese on the side.

Oh. Sorry to hear it. Poor fellow.

Oh, no!  I loved The Cradle Will Rock, and I remember seeing him over the years in various shows. :(

I suffered through a fair share of it. Suffer, I tell you. I just don't have the capacity I once had, though. I may have lunch and dinner from the leftovers. I did finish all of the mac and cheese.

I have just been reassigned my first concert. It’s for the Beach Boys, and it’s in November.

You're assigned ushering that far ahead?  Wow.  When things are normal, on the 15th of each month, we only get the schedule for the next month.  Even if something is known to be happening far in advance, they only schedule ushers and concessionaires for the next month.

The first half of Fort Apache has been excellent. I need to find a break in the action though and watch the rest tomorrow.

Today, I went to the Tumwater Red Wagon and got their bacon cheeseburger.  It's so good! ;D

I had a filled out stamp card, so I also got fries and a drink (diet Pepsi) for free!  Those were also very good, but I ate too much! :P I got it around 4:30, but I won't be able to eat again until tomorrow.

Cook county where Bryan lives & works is 4,496 cases making our numbers not seem as bad.

Yikes! :o

Food arrived thirty minutes early.  The salad I love I wouldn't order again - it's a bit soggy by the time it got here.  The pad Thai on the other hand is incredible.
Was the salad already tossed in the dressing?  If so you could ask for it on the side next time.

Every time I've gotten salads to go, the restaurants have automatically had the dressing on the side.  I've never had to ask. :-\

We returned from a walk just minutes before a downpour.

It was hailing here, earlier this afternoon!  Then it was fairly sunny, then it rained again, and now it's just overcast with bits of sky peeking through as it gets darker.

On the way home from Safeway, where we did get most of what we wanted, we stopped at Fred Meyer.  It too had fewer people today.  No santitizers of any kind.  I did get my eye drops and now don't have to worry about a delay in my delivery.  They didn't have any cleaning products we wanted.

I went to Fred Meyer yesterday and they had a couple of racks at the ends of a couple of aisles that had sample-sized hand sanitizers in various scents.  I got one with lavender scent and one with lemon and tea tree oil.  They both smell rather nice. :)

Just had an email.  Looks like the Babes in Toyland meeting is on for tomorrow.

Good Luck, Larry!

Topic of the Day...pretty much everything that's already been mentioned, except that I have seen these:

Chinatown
Les Demoiselles de Rochefort
The Matchmaker
Zorba the Greek

Well, I just got a text from my sister that she has some fresh baked Nestlé Toll House M&M and almond cookies!  Twist my arm!  I'm off to my sister's! :D

By time I woke up at 8 it was nicely marinated and I cooked it up in a skillet with mushrooms.
