I bought a six pack of zip drives at a bargain price, only to find out, I don't have a zip drive slot on my computer.  Oh well.

You shop the way I do, JRand! lol!

I understand that Paige O'Hara has turned out to be the McGlinn executrix and that everything has been left to the Library of Congress. That's what a trek to Toyland can do for you!

Wow--Paige O'Hara.  Interesting...

That's what I was thinking.

Except I cannot talk, so I can't use the phone.  I suppose I should have had the Vixter call someone - sorry!!

You need to set up a network of Bell Ringers to connect Long Island and Manhattan - and a carrier pigeon route to Westchester County.

Back from the long jog, which I did very slowly.  It's quite pretty out and I'm glad I did it.  I have no idea what my voice will be like this evening, but I'm just shutting up until that time, at which point we'll find out.

I am home, and I am finally up at 11:00 a.m., Left Coast Time.

I have my annual bout of walking pneumonia, but this morning I was too shot to even try walking into the shower or getting dressed.

Mirren and Tyzack – that’ll be some serious scenery chewing :D

Thanks for the Apple link DR JOSE.  I don't expect to see my G4 before this time next week....so we shall see.

In the meantime....has any reader used OpenOffice, the free word processing software?

It is Wednesday....DR JOSE is seeing THE SEARCHERS....that would be a fine movie to see on the BIG screen.

And it is ASK BK Day......so......

Which classic 20th century play or musical do you think works specifically in its time period....i.e. even if it were revived, it should take place in the time it was first produced....this would apply to pieces of contemporary theatre.....not, for example, a 1959 show set in 1888.

Or.....if you don't like that question.....who was prettier in 1962:

Connie Stevens
Diane McBain
Angie Dickinson

We are not adding Miss Leslie Parrish to the list for obvious reasons.

Etta is not the problem, Cyndi Lauper, Gladys Knight and Lou Rawls could be.

Etta's is At Last! Not to be confused with At Last

And, yes, DR elmore and I will be heading to the theatre tonight.  To The Booth for The Story of My Life.

My favorite NYC story.  I was walking back to the Milford Plaza down 45 Street.  There was a man and a woman and their two kids ahead of me.  The one kid, about eight years old, kept asking his mother what this was and what that was.  When they walked past the Booth, he asked his usual questions.  His mother said, "That's the Booth Theatre.  That is where they shot Abraham Lincoln."

Yes, it came with our laptop.  Pretty basic stuff, converts over to MS Word just fine.

You go to annhamptoncallaway.com and tell me if that's not Etta's song playing, the same song Etta went ballistic about when Beyonce did it at the inauguration.
