In local news -- this is scary:

Do I get this right, we was to be deported once he served his life sentence?

The Department of Homeland Security at work.  We WILL deport you...dead or alive

I wonder what Joshie would say on a facebook page. Or Boo and Callie.

DR Laura, I'm sure there was protocol. If someone escapes, you lock down the building, so even if he isn't in the building, they would have to follow protocol and lock everyone inside.  Actually, that would prevent him from getting a weapon and coming back into the building or some such nonsense.

Callie has decided it's much to public and even though facebook has done an about face she doesn't want her personal business spread around the internet.  Boo says "Are there toys?"

I'm sure you are right, Cillaliz; it just sounds funny.  I wonder what Sheriff Joe will have to say about this.

Yep.  That last sentence of the story clinched it.  Of course, when you deport someone after they've served "life", I'm guessing what they're really doing is saving themselves the expense of a burial.

It is scary the guy escaped but I got to wonder the point of the latest trial, unless to prevent him getting out early.  When I read the last sentence I just laughed out loud. ;D

It's not really his own page.  It's an adjunct accessed from my page.  He has been "friended" by a dog who lives in Seattle.

OK, I am nuts.

Love THE SEARCHERS......

"Don't ask me.  For the rest of your life - don't ever ask me!"

"You didn't see Lucy.  What you saw was a buck wearing Lucy's dress."

And Natalie Wood's mad dash across the sand not knowing if she will be welcomed or killed.....

"Come on, Debbie - let's go home!"

Now I will watch NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE because I like Julia Louis-Dreyfus.

Then I will watch GARY UNMARRIED because I really REALLY REALLY like Jay Mohr.

And, yes, DR elmore and I will be heading to the theatre tonight.  To The Booth for The Story of My Life.

My favorite NYC story.  I was walking back to the Milford Plaza down 45 Street.  There was a man and a woman and their two kids ahead of me.  The one kid, about eight years old, kept asking his mother what this was and what that was.  When they walked past the Booth, he asked his usual questions.  His mother said, "That's the Booth Theatre.  That is where they shot Abraham Lincoln."

How loud was your reaction? ;D

Has anybody heard from Tomovoz lately ?  Is he still alright and safe from the fires?

Before responding to your post I checked the latest news on his local fires.  So far they are holding though he is not out of danger yet.  The smoke is very unpleasant.  Between the fires and visiting his sister, who had been back in the hospital with complications from her new hip, he has been very busy.  His sister is fine now.

Just been relaxing - did all my LACCTAA newsletter stuff and got that out of the way.  Then I highlighted one script - the stage direction person's script, since I don't want him to read ALL the stage direction.  Since I think we're only having one extra guy and gal, they can read all the other parts.

I now have another hour's worth of material to listen to for the film soundtrack.  I've already heard what was the proposed album master, and I've heard the reel's worth of material they didn't use - mostly short cues, but some key cues, too.  This new stuff are the film's music stems, which I'm hoping puts everything in film order.  Then there's a reel of songs (there are three songs in the film, used in the background).  After that, we have the session tapes, which are in some sort of stereo, but which should replicate everything on these stems and the album master, at least I think that's what it should do.  We shall see.  The living room is all set up and now I'm just going to relax until people arrive.
