My friend Matthew and I went to see BOY CULTURE.  I had read the book about 10 years ago and remembered nothing of the plot.   The movie was sweet, funny, and moving.

Did you see it at the Quads?

Google reveals:  "Pummel Men's Scrotums" was from the (I think unaired) controversial pilot for MARRIED WITH CHILDREN.

The girls have been here for a couple of hours. I must say, this is getting to become a rather regular occurrence. After going for a walk, playing with old toys I brought out of the shed, playing "You Can't Catch Me" (DS is very good at this game), drawing, filling the birdfeeders, playdough, then they all settled down to watch "Arthur."

They look absolutely adoreable!

I had a fairly uneventful day. I did go shopping and enjoyed Coldwater Creek. I said something about watching What Not to Wear and the woman helping out around the dressing rooms said "Does everyone watch that show?"  It was pretty funny, but they do give good advice for how to deal with dressing different body types.

bk - Valium is still in "active use".  It may not be "hip", but it's still prevalent.  And since there's not so much of a stigma attached to it - if there ever was one - there's no shame taking a Valium for some people.

The vet suggested valium for my ancient cat to increase his appetite, but I discovered that he would eat chicken flavored baby food so I never went the valium route.

One time I was checking out at the grocery store, and the clerk asked "How old da baby?"

She was kind of shocked when I said "20".

DR Laura, if I had a neighbor who planned a lot of fun activities for me I'd be there every day too!

Looks like the female host of What Not to Wear is going to have an addiitonal show of her own.  There was an ad for it during House Flip or Trading Spaces.

What was the controversial TV show where they said that PMS stands for Pommel Men's Scrotums?

Married With Children - Pilot Episode

der Brucer

Note: One hits ones scrotum on a pommel, one pummels ones adversary on the scrotum; of course a strong gymnast might pick up a horse and pummel a scrotum with a pommel.

EIGHT MEN OUT (I spent four days working on that movie and can be sort of seen in it)

Where? I usually watch at least part of it whever I happen to stumble across it. I will make it a point to look for you!

***  A POST FOR DR "CUTIE-PIE" MIKE BARNUM  ***

Yes, we do have a dinner date in Hollywood.....what do you think, that I'm a chincy bassa ??  :o

But it has to be at the start of your trip.  If you can keep Tuesday evening, the 24th, free, then it can be dinner at Musso & Frank .  And maybe we could lure the Grande Mensch himself into joining us.  Platters of shrimp cocktail shrimp will be brought out, along with trays of crudites and crusty bread and butter.  And then, you should experience the "pounded steak with country gravy."  Oh, so yummy.

Ah Haz Spoken !

Tuesday the 24th it is! Yes, BK must join us (..why, are we falling a part?)

I think I get in to Burbank at about 4:30 pm that day, if I recall my schedule correctly.
