Of course, "I left her flamingo in the car" is also a great quote.

I guess it's my turn to ask for vibes for a friend.  My best friend's husband, Steve, found out this past week that he has bladder cancer.  He will find out tomorrow when he has to go to Mayo in Rochester to have his bladder removed.  They will also take the prostate and all the lymph nodes in the area, hopefully they will get it all.    The fascinating thing is, they will then make a new bladder out of a portion of his intestine...isn't it just amazing what they can do?

Anyway, vibes would be very much appreciated.  He has 4 cancer survivors in his family, so we're hoping that's a good omen.

Has anyone seen The Secret Life of Bees yet?  I was going to go this weekend but just didn't get there.

Think I'll go get a WW fudge bar.  I still have points I need to eat today

I'm been waiting to hear your report.  I did speak to someone who saw, & highly recommended it.  She hadn't read the book.

It just started here also. I want to see, but since it closes on Thursday I doubt I will have the opportunity.

I'm sure it will be playing Portland for more than a week.  -Unless it's getting "dumped" to make room for "HSM3".  :-\  ;)

Well, my laundry is done, and I've packed my clothes.  Now, I just need to organize and pack all the rest of my stuff - which now includes a new laptop, laptop case, etc.  So...

Laters...

Read the comic strip, "Sheldon" for today.  It's a "guide' for Weight Watchers.    It's a riot and very true

Except that MBarnum isn't up in the "big city," he's down in Salem.

JMK, is James Montgomery a friend of yours?  Because he is suddenly a friend of mine.

He probably just loved your photo from 1974. . .
