Well, this morning I received at work the closing documents for my refinance.  I signed what was marked for me to sign, went to the credit union to have the necessary documents notarized and I sent them back in the supplied pre-paid UPS overnight package!!  It's almost all over!!  Next week, my original 30-year loan should be paid off and my first payment for the new 15-year loan won't be until May 1! ;D

What happened to tomorrow's 50 degrees?

That won't be here until the middle of next week.  We have to have a BLIZZARD first - and I don't mean the Dairy Queen kind!

DR Tomovoz - I like what's outside your window much more than what's outside my window.

DR Matt H.: as bk reported, the Camelot concert cast is not yet announced, although DR JoseSPiano seems to have an inkling.

Audra is rumored for Guinevere, but that is not confirmed at this point.

I agree with George.  Let Brent play Arthur.  Hell, then put Sebastian LaCause in as Lancelot; and I will play Guinevere!

My question is of course is if they don't accept underpants from the outside, why are Tuesday and Thursday, underpants days?  Are those the only days that underpants can be offered and refused?

 ;D

I almost asked why they don't sell the required boxers at the jail & figured the fact would have been mentioned if they did. ::)

The word 'prepone' is found in The New Oxford Dictionary of English, published 1998. It is listed as being Indian (from India) and is defined as: to bring forward to an earlier date or time. Example given: The publication date has been preponed from July to June

I recently finished reading THE PROFESSOR AND THE MADMAN, a tale of murder, insanity, and the making of the Oxford English Dictionary.  It was very interesting.

Well, since I took so long to sign the papers, eat lunch and the papers notarized, and I really haven't done ANYTHING while I've been at work today, I'm going to leave and just use a whole day of vaction. :) I'll use the time to go home and work on my music for Side Show.  Tonight, we're running the whole show, so it'll help.  Until later!

Thanks to DR MBARNUM for the Snake Dance clip yesterday.....a little short on dancers, but fun.

DR JOSE - Lafayette Jefferson is an Indiana High School, and even though that routine was GRAND CHAMPION, I wouldn't give it high marks.  The singing was pretty bad, and I hate Swing Choir "choreography".  That example is especially bad because it really interferes with the singing.  The group would move while they were singing and then stay in position during the the times they were silent.  And the soloists, particularly the guy was off key.

I really hate show choirs.  And when I say anything, I get told that they teach everyone so much about performing, which may be why we get the singers and dancers we get now at auditions.

If we banned Show Choirs, it would be a small loss.  As Meredith Willson said about the Jews' Harp:  "Never have the efforts of so many resulted in the entertainment of so few."

Bravo!  I can never stand to hear the song "Hi, Neighbor" because the Wilson High School Swing Choir started every single concert with that damn song.

I watched last night's NEW AMSTERDAM. A better episode than the pilot,

Thank goodness! Keith was about to delete the series and I said to give it another try.  Maybe we will watch it tonight.

The usual, human response to a New Moon (at 9:15 this morning PST) is to develop a gung-ho attitude that can't be stopped - at least for many hours or a couple of days. The problem here is that you reach another peak of excitement and stimulation as the Moon conjuncts Uranus in Pisces (11:05AM PST), but this union starts a void lunar cycle that lasts until 6:24AM PST tomorrow. Pull in the reins somewhat this afternoon and evening. It is still fine to become a computer geek and high-tech explorer, but it's better to go with the flow than starting up costly and time-consuming business ventures.

Oh come Uranus is always in the middle of everything, Jrand?

We received a rather disturbing medical diagnosis for Miss Blue Moon, but she is on a round of treatment and we will know the prognosis in two weeks.  Vibes appreciated.

Friday morning greetings!  According to WHIO-TV, we are now in the throes of our 17th snow event this winter - the first one was Dec. 5, the day I saw DR Jason in A Christmas Carol.  And this could be THE BIG ONE, with double-digit accumulations predicted.  My drive into work wasn't bad, but I'm concerned about the drive home and tomorrow (a workday for me).

I am no longer amused by winter.

Spring is arriving here in the Pacific Northwet.

And I keep waiting for Disney to send the Blu-ray of ENCHANTED. Sometimes they are weeks ahead of street date with their review copies (makes it so much easier when they give a long lead time). Other times, they're too close to street date or, as with THE ROOKIE, past street date.Wonder why they're so inconsistent?

I think it just depends on how long it takes your postal clerk to repackage the evidence once he finishes with the free DVDs.

I got in just before the downpour began.  I guess we're do for storms till tomorrow evening, so I'm happy o work on various and sundry here at home.  I had a great afternoon washing down four shelves of CDs with ammonia to clean off the dust and cut down the potential mite population.  Tomorrow, I think I'll do the other four.  I've got a bit of FANTASTICKS work for Harvey Schmidt to move on to, and I finally received today my contracts with Rodgers & Hammerstein for my work in getting THE BRAIN FROM PLANET X ready for their theatre catalog.  The biggest part of that is that I have to write out a book of the vocal parts.

I just spoke to my brother Randy and he says that Macbeth told him it was time to bury the hatchet with me. Randy's comment to me was that he wanted to ask him, where? in my head?
