TOD:

THE APARTMENT
SUNSET BLVD
IRMA LA DOUCE
SOME LIKE IT HOT
KISS ME STUPID
AVANTI
THE FRONT PAGE
ONE TWO THREE

Don't think me too crazy for liking two of the titles on that list. . .they are two which many people are quite divided on.  I'll not defend THE FRONT PAGE too much, except to say that when I saw it on its opening night, with a crowded theater, we were a very responsive audience.
KISS ME STUPID, I just find extremely funny. . .

Elementary Dr. Watson-It Comes Around Every Year

I guess Young Fella -4 Years Translates to 28

 A Most Happy Fella!Sherlock

A Most Happy Birthday To You

Cute. :D

I never think in people years so I'll have to trust you he is 28 ;)

7 people years for every dog year.  Next year at this time, he will be the equivalent of 35 people years.

I am pleased to report that I actually slept through the night for the first time since June.  Yup, I can't remember sleeping all night without waking up coughing or just waking up since June.  8 1/2 hours.  Woo and hoo..  The inhaler has gotten rid of my cough completely.  I can't believe the difference.

Best birthday present I can think of.

Humm...I do not like this theme among DRs of waking up and being unable to breathe.

Easy breathing vibes to all!

DR Jane I finished the Lisa Gardner book THE NEIGHBOR. I liked it very much and would recommend it. I reserved the follow-up book LIVE TO TELL. Well it also features the same detective DD Warren.

I found this headline today:
"The Curious Case of a Birthday for Sherlock"

A Very Happy Birthday to DD Sherlock!! ;D

Thank you.  This quote is perfect since his official name is Silver Blaze.

Gee, if it weren't for the distance, Fletcher, Buster, Bonnie, and Mikie could all visit Sherlock and give him a proper Birthday Party.

RE: THE NEIGHBOR. It is the first book listed as a DD Warren (detective) novel. However I believe that she is a character in HIDE. So I may get that from my library.

One thing that i noticed about the book (which i found different) was that usually when you have a detective series they are the star of the book (the book is from their point of view and about them solving a case). But in THE NEIGHBOR, it is told from various points of view. And interestingly there is so much we did not learn about the detective. Although maybe we learn some things in the book HIDE where she is friends with the lead cop of that book.

By total chance (or was it--CUE OMINOUS MUSIC), I clicked on the story of the Virginia woman who's about to be executed.  I was stunned to see one of the gunmen who killed her husband and stepson (at her behest) shares the same surname as my mother's maiden name.  It's a rather rare name, so methinks I'm distantly related.  Oy.

Check out her website.  ALONE is the first one.  I've changed my request from Neighbor to Alone.

Will do once he wakes up.  I really did walk him too far today.:(  He didn't even get up when I waved peanut butter in front of him.  I had to lean down for him to lick it.

The weather channel said we had a 10% chance of rain today....the National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning for the possible 3-5 inches of rain.  Since it's pouring out right now, I guess I know who to believe, lol

DR Ginny, the Plaza has officially opened its "Eloise Suite" renting at $995/night. You and Richard might want to book it.
