travel vibes for Bruce

Comfort and joy vibes for Elmore and Elmore's Neck. (That's the title of my next novel: Elmore's Neck.)

And its sequel, NECKING WITH ELMORE.

I don't have the rights to that one. Some other author will have to cover that.

It is, indeed. I hope I can stop and get some bluebonnet shots this spring and share them.

Spring has arrived very early this year in New York.
I'm amazed that the daffodils and bluebells are up, and the trees are either budding or already in bloom.

As for allowing time to get to the airport-
I once allowed 2 hours to get to JFK. There was construction, there was rain, there was traffic, and I missed my flight.
Talk about stress.
I'd rather get there 2 hours early and r-e-l-a-x.

The good thing about the airport here is that from where i live there can never really be any traffic getting there.  The only thing is they keep doing so many renovations that getting into the airport pick-up/drop off is different almost every time!

Subway vibes for DR ELMORE.

Continued travel vibes for MR BK.  Wave as you fly over Indiana.

Why is it that no one ever waves when they fly over Washington?  I mean the state and not D.C, because everyone waves over D.C., but they only wave with one finger.

TOD:

I just try to focus on the task at hand.  If I am at the theatre, I cannot do anything about what is happening at the store - and vice versa.

Two things I have learned......your life is like a chest of drawers.....if ALL of the drawers are open at once, it is chaos.  Only open the drawer you need at the moment.....and don't open the sock drawer if you are looking for underwear.  No more than ONE drawer should be open at any given time.

AND - we all have baggage.  You cannot pick up one more thing unless you set something down....if you are carrying baggage for someone else, put it down.  Only carry what belongs to you.

I agree with all this "free" advice!  :D

Which part is "free" and which part costs thirty-five dollars?

Heading out to Central Park for a few hours as I'm only here for one more day.

It's 72 degrees here--warmer than in California.

Crazy weather this year.

Dr Ginny-
Do noisy yellow trucks replace red robins as signs of spring?

Yes, they say we have two seasons in Ohio - winter and construction!

Same here DR GINNY....same here.  We are supposed to get 80 degree temperatures here tomorrow!

Thank you DR IRIS.....that visualization can be very effective to be sure.....

It's ALL free here on HHW.....but you have to pay for private consultations.....it's usually $65 for a half hour....but I give everyone here a break on the price.

Lovely photo from DR DOUG R.

AND Mr Bunny has reappeared in my backyard, so I guess he wasn't eaten by the cats.

In my Firefox browser.....words that are not spelled correctly are still underlined in red.

Well, I awoke in the middle of the night to the surprising sight of over 6 inches of snow outside.

We were shocked to find 4 inches of snow.  We canceled Sherlock's appointment.  I was able to walk down our road & get a ride to my book discussion meeting.  I loved the book as did everyone else in the group & it was a fun meeting.   Having read all of Ivan Doig's books I suggested everyone read HOUSE OF SKY next.

I'm still in my neck brace - I really hate them - but I still can't turn my head to the left, although the pain is going away, I've met my huge deadline with the booklet notes, and I need a month at the Mayo Clinic to recuperate and readjust. The only major tsuris in my life now is this whole office evacuation/new office mess, so keep them vibes coming!

Does the neck brace make it easier on your neck?  I have opted not to wear them when I should have.  I'm glad the pain is easing up.  Do you take the brace off at all.  I wouldn't want your neck to get too stiff from lack of movement & create a new problem.

NECK & OFFICE VIBES!!!

*gasp*

Just returned from my first outside walk of 2012.  It's almost 80o outside and our neighborhood is hilly.  15 minutes outside is a lot harder than 30 in the basement!

Try doing a second, easier walk in the basement for about 15 minutes.  The combination of flat & hills is good for you.
