Good Morning!

I'm up, I'm up... And I'm not currently on the way to the theatre. :)

Good morning, all! I slept late and I'm pondering the weekend events and possibilities.

DR Jose, my first reaction was that I had got myself signed up to something, whch isn't likely, or that I might have ordered something I'd forgotten about. This is the third month I've been losing money to these two companies, so I think it's something that occurred following the arrival of my new debit card. The card is now closed down, so the charges cannot continue. Of course it screws up several subscriptions and Amazon.com, but it will all work out. It may also be the fallout of some crook on Amazon Marketplace or elsewhere; who knows?  Maybe I'm sending someone's kid to college!

Tonight, DEATH TAKES A HOLIDAY, which i look forward to seeing. Today, proofreading the Act Two Finale of EILEEN continues.

I also need someone to put me on a budget.   So I manage to save the $ I need for the important things like bk's new cd.   Not coffee or whatever else I waste it on.

6 months left in this year to clear up the $ mess from the first 6 months.  I have been really really bad.

Oh well.

Why are so many guests nosing about?

I blame Google. -It's amazing what "non-related" sites come up when you're searching for something. And since we all link to others articles, sites and images, that could also end up triggering some visitors to surf where they've never surfed before.

DR elmore - I wonder if your new debit card had one of those "prevent identity theft" and/or overdraft protection programs attached to it.

Oh!

And barring any other changes, a week from tomorrow I will be on the podium of the Fichlander Stage in the Arena Stage at The Mead Center for American Theater.

Excited and scared.

But mostly thankful for the opportunity.

We'll see. I just want to stop these charges if they are not mine.

Larry, if your debit card is Visa or MC, you're automatically protected from theft/fraud.  They'll refund the charges if you go after them insisting you didn't make them.  It will help if you have supporting documentation from the vendors.

Listening to the 2CD set of Complete Pop Instrumental Hits of the Sixties--1960.  There was an awful lot of crap out there in 1960, I must say.  ;)

I have written up about 2/3 of my review of HANNIE CAULDER, but need to churn out at least one other review today, probably of the MUSICARES NEIL YOUNG BD.

I know all of that. What I simply want to learn is who these companies are, who authorized the charges - and I'm aware thse might be something I've done - and stop them. Unless, of course, i'm the guilty party. Then I will determine if they continue or not. I'm more frustrated over the loss of $60 ysterday, when I really cannot affords it, and concerned abut possible fraud. Much as I don't like it, I can live with the truth!

Saturday morning greetings!  We have had a big weekend breakfast - bacon, eggs, toast, cantaloupe - and now I'm enjoying my final cup of coffee for today.

DR Elmore, the Pendleton Art Center is kitty-corner to the old Murphy store in what used to be a department store, then an AK Steel office building.  The Murphy building is now BeauVerre Riordan Stained Glass.

I suspect some of our GUESTS came because of the article.  I suspect some of our GUESTS are here for the reasons stated by Jose.  I suspect some of our GUESTS are the same old, same old, including a couple of people we all know and don't love.
