If you removed the nudes  I would like this one best - perhaps simpler would bring the eye to the name better

I like this one too. -But, like DR vixmom, I would like to see it without the nudes. -In fact, it took me a few moments to figure out exactly what they were.

And since I'm driving into DC today... And since I don't want to risk being late due to the "usual" DC traffic patterns...

Laters...

Good morning, all! I am feeling a bit lazy today and wondering what fresh hell will arrive today; July 5th hasn't been a good day for me in several years. In 2006, it was the year the Macbeths revealed their true colors, let me know how much they disliked me, and let my dad know they couldn't wait for him to die for whatever value they could inherit from the occason. This year, I expect today more fallout from yesterday's Ohio Light Opera can of worms. I hope not, but there are still possible repercussions from the executive director and chief financial exponent.

Ah, well. Life goes on. I have work to do, and at 2:45 I'm seeing a new dermatologist, Robin Buccholtz. The last one vanished and left me in the lurch. Thank you, HIP!

More coffee!

ARSENIC AND OLD LACE

Does that count as a "family comedy"?

My first instinct is that I like this one...maybe with the lettering in black.  But I do like the title only being in the outfit, not additionally on another line, like post #s 5 and 6.

I think I sort of like this one too. I agree about liking stuff on the steps. Although after reading DR Vixmom's post it does sort of look like a snowman.

If you removed the nudes  I would like this one best - perhaps simpler would bring the eye to the name better

I like this one too. -But, like DR vixmom, I would like to see it without the nudes. -In fact, it took me a few moments to figure out exactly what they were.

OMG i could not figure out what DR Vixmom meant by nudes. I thought they were just elbows. I concur don't like it. the elbows are very distracting.

I am so curious. How does someone make a bad BBQ? Do they burn all the food? I get that some people can be better cooks than others. But unless it's burnt how bad could it be?

Belles on their Toes (original): I loved and read many times as a kid the books these were based on
The Parent Trap (the original is my fave, but I didn't mind the remake)

this one is good too.  I'm not big on the sparkly curtain ones-- I think the sparkly curtains distract from the chorus girl whereas the red curtains frame the chorus girl.

Or this one. But move the title down or something. I didn't recognize the steps as steps.

I always liked the movie, "Yours Mine and Ours." It's one of the few movies my parents actually took us to see in the theater. I saw it again on television a few years and realized I remembered none of it since I was probably about six years old when I saw it the first time. Anyway, the adults in that film were good, but the children were terrible!

Topic of the day:
I've really been liking "The Middle" and "Modern Family" which I recommended to my sister. After she watched them, she kept saying "I'm so surprised you like these shows - you don't have children!" But I don't think you have to have children to appreciate the humor of them.
