Here's a question for you savvy musicologists: why do you think Hammerstein chose the word cowman instead of the more commonly used cowboy for The Farmer and the Cowman? I don't recall the script--are the ranchers generally referred to as cowmen during the show? Or were they cattlemen and cowman was a good two-syllable term? Was cowmen chosen to form an alliteration on the m with farmer? Does anyone but me really care about this?

The Restaurant is owned by A Very Rich Couple-So It is not their source of income. But it is a labor of Love. The Restaurant's decor is Stunning. The Lighting fixtures and Chandelier was created by a student of CHIHULY.The Food was Great and It Was a terrific way to Start our Trip.
