Re the clip Jrand posted - it's funny, but shrunk small and without reference I can see why we all thought that looked pretty good back in 2002.  Put that on a fifty-inch screen next to our new transfer and it looks brown, color-wise, and then, of course, there's the cue marks and the filth.

I have nothing to say :)

TOD - in the movie version of "West Side Story" - misheard lyric - "Automobiles zoom in a America" .... I thought it was (phonetically) - "ha da la soom in America"

TOD:  In "The Kind of Man a Woman Needs," by (who else?) Barbra Streisand, the line is "Youthful, no my man ain't youthful..."   I heard it as "Useful, no my man ain't useful,"  wondering why Barbra was singing with a lisp.

Why don't you ask her, Kevin?

After all my tsuris, I was in need of comfort food, so I stopped at Artie's and got a pastrami sandwich (deelish!) and potato salad. I am feeling much happier.

Just taking a break from packing and thought I'd look into what's going on in Berea, KY, where we will spend tomorrow night on our way to Atlanta.  Of all things, there's a free performance by Richmond's Rose Barn Theatre of As You Like It.  Remember, that was my selection for my book group's Shakespeare in the Round discussion that I was unable to attend due to my aunt's death that morning.  I hadn't liked reading the play, but said I'd like to see it performed.

Ahhhh,  I get BEWARE THE BLOB.

If anyone else got to BEWARE THE BLOB, perhaps they could explain this notation in the cast list:

Robert Walker Jr.  ..........  Bobby Hartford (as Robert Walker)

Not all, but I'm only here for a moment. Waiting for the allergy medicine to kick in or my brain to, either way.

Thanks to the Monarch Scientist's suggestion we drive down to Tucson to the native plant sale, I now have to dig eight holes in the backyard.

As long as I am seated, I feel okay.   The walking (stumbling) part keeps getting worse.

It really does sound like she's saying "highway" and not "round" "oh yeah"

And how about ACK-SHUN

Richard and I just returned from some pre-trip errands.  He had mucho copying to do, so I dropped him at Staples and I went to the consignment shop to drop off a couple of things, to Target, and to Goodwill to donate a bag of baggy clothes.  By the time I got back to Staples, I was pretty wiped out from the heat so I stayed in the air-conditioned car while Richard did one last errand at Lowe's.  Glad to be home where it's cool...

I confess that I always thought she was African-American until  I saw the clip.

If you are so inclined, we would appreciate your vote for World of Wisdom as Best Bookstore.

http://wrtv.cityvoter.com/world-of-wisdom-bookstore/biz/36861

When you vote you are asked for an email and a password and you will get two email confirmations but NO OTHER emails.  This year you do not have to click a link in the email for your vote to count - so you can just delete those two emails when you receive them.

Thanks!

I voted!

One reason why you should be a part of TFNM blu ray project.

Going from video to video, I came across THIS review of the movie!  Has anyone else seen it?

Well, I just got a call from my sister's boyfriend, asking if I want to go to the Seattle Storm game tonight...actually, now.  My niece, who was going to go, can't.  The game doesn't start until 7:00, but there's so much traffic that we would have to leave fairly soon to get through it all.  So, I'm off to Seattle.

Have a good day, all!

Will the stumbling improve as your broken toes do?  Is there another problem causing it?  If I remember correctly you said the pain in your back caused the first fall.

NO MORE FALLING VIBES!!!!

Just got the sweetest e-mail from a gentleman who just watched The Last Of Howard episode of The Partridge Family, which I guess was shown somewhere today.  He told me that he'd had a big crush on me when he was a kid.  I love stuff like that.
