Finally back from a long, exhausting day. I had lunch with Kevin Spirtas (just a lettuce wedge), and that was grand fun. I'm sure elmore will be happy to know that Mr. Spirtas will be a credited above the line producer on Finian's - he brought quite a bit of investor money to the show. Then I had a four-hour work session with Crista and Alex. I had her do the Band-Aid version of her "act" and while she was doing it I figured out where all the new material would fit. Afterwards, we sang the show in the order I came up with and it was great - just had to move one little thing. We still have a lot to do and I'll begin putting it together today - some staging, how to get from one thing to the next - the only thing we won't be doing is creating new patter and fixing old patter. I'll give her the ideas, but then I'll actually write it in her voice, and then she can make it her own. After that, I had to hurry to see Skip's show, about which more in the notes. Then I had to hurry to Joe Allen to sup with Walter Willison. We had quite a nice time, but I really started to fade after a couple of hours. As we were leaving, he saw two people at the bar that he knew, so I met them and we ended up chatting with them for another fifteen minutes - I'm sure the denizens of this here site know them well, since they both appear on One Life To Live (and the girl also appeared for years on Days Of Our Lives). I think the gal's name was Farrah Fath, and the guy plays her boyfriend - John something (a P, I think). Very nice indeed. And now I'm home, I've responded to many of the fifty or so e-mails waiting for me, and I guess I'll go write the notes now.
