I am also all about having a C. C. Brown's sundae on a Saturday.  I should never have opened the jar yesterday, but now that it is open I must consume it, oh, yes, I must consume it.

Here is more humor:  I just decided that I would take a Jacuzzi tonight after several days without.  I went outside to turn the heat on and guess what - it is raining.  Yes, you heard it here, dear readers, it was raining.  Can you believe it?  No Jacuzzi tonight I suppose.

I'm hoping my place is rented. My landlady feels uneasy about renting to a male tenant. But I think the best prospect so far was a nice looking gay man in his thirties who came with a lady friend to help him look. They both loved the place and he wants it. He has a nine-year-old Lab and works in music clearance at Paramount. And he brought a a stack of references, even his credit report. All first class. He even asked if he could paint the bedroom and have a decorator friend do the place. Sounds like the perfect tenant to me. Now if the landlady agrees, I can once again shower in peace.

I bet sitting in a hot Jacuzzi with cool rain falling would be quite pleasant.

Yes, DR Dear Friends, I have returned home (there is no place like home, there is no place like home,.....).  I relied on the kindness of stangers, well, actually a friend's son to restore my computer to the living.

So, fasten your seat belts...........

You wouldn't know who he is, which, given his many postings about what a giant he is in the industry, would amuse you no end.  He's a cameraman on a bunch of "c" movies

...Errant and truant = funny.  It someone doesn't find it funny, move along and ignore it.  Certainly I'm not going to drop one of our longest running gags - EVER.  I am all about the running gags.  ALWAYS.
Or, in keeping with today's TOD, "Pear-ant and Prune-ant."

Just a suggestion.   ::)

Why the heck not?  It's all water, after all.

I wouldn't try it in a thunderstorm, of course.  Shocking what can happen during a thunderstorm.

It sounds like you could have showered, and no one would have cared.

Dang.

I have just returned from a Los Angeles Philharmonic concert, led by Mr. Hans Graf, at Walt Disney Concert Hall.  The second half of the program was comprised of Mr. Dmitri Shostakovich's Eleventh Symphony.  Though the playing was good, I did not care for the piece too much.  The Dear Father slept through much of it and The Dear Stepmother was in heaven.

This morning I went to a very odd funeral for the neighbor on the corner. He was obviously not a religious man, as the music was a song by Elvis, a song called "My Dog Thinks I'm Elvis" and the closing song was "Happy Trails To You."

After that, I did some fascinating church paperwork. Then I went to the local park to get some photo slides for the prelude at church tomorrow. While there, I saw a bighorn mountain sheep, a jackrabbit, and a roadrunner.

Didn't I have an exciting day?

Sticking with the fruit theme of the day, I must say that when comparing the posts of Dear Reader Laura and Dear Reader Sandra, one must conclude that the apple, indeed, does not fall far from the tree.

Confidential to Dear Reader Laura and Dear Reader Sandra:

Are you coming to Lalaland for Grand Hotel and/or Plaid Tidings?  If yes, I'd love to connect with you while you are here.  Send me a private message with the date(s).

My, my.  I've just caught up on today's posts and must confess I've never seen anyone make a comeback return so soon after she left the stage.

I am most ecstatic that Dear Reader Panni shall remain amongst the minions of Hainesies and Kimlets.
