DR TCB, are you having back aches?

I'm loading the next CLOSER, episode 307. S. Epatha Merkerson is one of the guest stars!

I love her! I can't wait to see the episode.

Thanks to MATTH and GEORGE and others who've mentioned BAGHDAD CAFE, a film I was curious about. So many movies, so little time!  I'll put this one on my list.

The quality of the transfer was variable. SOme of it looked great. Some was overly grainy and some parts looked washed out. But you'll get so caught up in the quirky magic of it that the visuals won't matter too much.

DR TCB, are you having back aches?

Actually D-the-M, I am; but I think it may be because of the change in the weather this morning.

I hope I didn't insult any true fans of the Shadows here, if any there be.  It seems that these guys do have a following, as witnessed by this website.

DR TCB - I hope that your back wasn't the reason that you stayed home from work today, and that you can actually enjoy your day off!

Good morning all..... I actually slept wonderfully and deeply last night, and I shouted a very large "HUZZAH" as I awoke this morning.  Sugar, of course, gave me a very indulgent look and then hopped down off the bed.

Why did I sleep well ??......... Well, for one thing, I got to drop off to sleep to the sound of R A I N !!!   Yes, dear DR Laura, we actually got some usable water here in north-central last night.  YEA !!!

Hi Jason.... your beach romp sounded like a lot of fun out in the Hamptons....and very dressy and smart also.

Hi Jo jo .... how's my favorite E.A.F.A. today?  I hope you're having mild to bearable weather down in the Richmond area.

And, the TOD:

I love really good, freshly made Guacamole, with chips that are still hot from the deep fryer and salted.

And probably my favorite......

And the word of the day is: PLEOCHROIC!
Cassie wanted to wear something different and sparkling, and not the same POOR CLICHE of a leotard, when she auditioned for A PLEOCHORIC Line.

My guess is Woody will still buy a copy at his store, so we'll have two - no fighting over whose turn.
Not if we're selling at full price I'm not!

Well I have to go start on some morning errands now, and then get some more work done here at the ranch today.

And I do realize that I am getting even pottier as time goes on.  I have found myself looking out the window and saying....

"......you know, they can even get you for wearing  red shoes on a Thursday here..... anything....."

I love the onion rings at Birds, but ony tolerate them everywhere else. I don't usually eat appitizers unless I am with someone else who orders them. I do enjoy my grandma's anti pasto on holidays.

Good Afternoon!

Hmm... Well, I guess my parents are getting settled in here at their new house...  I'm currently sitting in my parents living room... In one of the matching recliners... Watching the Noon news... On their new Vizio Plasma HDTV... While surfing the net courtesy of the wireless internet.  :)

Although I was raised in New England and have been eating lobster since the age of three, Boiled lobster and lobster pie were as far as I ever went and I was the only one in the family who refused to eat fried clams. But thanks to a gift certificate from work at Christmas, I tried lobster bisque for the first time and I'm hooked. I'll be going to Red Lobster tomorrow(Hello, Joe Queenan) and am looking for  a simple recipe. The first one  I saw involved a half  dozen crunchy veggies which wasn't wht I was looking for.
