Good Evening!

Back from seeing "Pan's Labyrinth"...  What a visually stunning movie, and also quite graphic (which surprised me).  -I had no idea what the movie was about, except for the fantasy aspect of it.  I had no idea of the "real" events.

In any case... I enjoyed.  And Mark enjoyed it.

HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER had a hilarious outing tonight as Ted and Robin notice they've kept things given them by former lovers around their two apartments. What to do? Lily is also in an off-off-off-Broadway play she makes the gang endure, so Barney writes his own one man play for the gang to watch. All very funny stuff.

THE CLASS made some strides toward a couple of couples switching partners, all of which we in the audience had seen coming all season. Stiull, there were some funny moments.

Someone needs to compile all these into one document.

I will do it and also give it to Alton Brown. It will no doubt inspire him!

'24' had some tense moments among the principals, and once again, another President seems primed for assassination. This amid three nuclear bombs also being readied for demolition. Edge of your seat stuff.

HEROES had one of its best episodes in weeks as three more heroes join the gang and a couple of characters bid goodbye to the series. Lots of surprises there.

Your Horse Is My Mother

I was wearing a jacket that had a belt-thing around the waist. Kayla got a hold of it and pretended it was reins and led me around the playground like I was a horse. Meanwhile, Gracie was playing some kind of make-believe game. I think she was a princess or something. She does this a lot and she always wants me to play with her and make believe I'm her mother. I couldn't really do that because Kayla was leading me all over the playground and calling me a horse. But she would catch up with us every once in a while, call me "mother," and then take off again. By this time, a couple of the four-year-old boys were helping Kayla lead me around, which was fine as long as they all went in the same direction. They led me to the fence and Kayla said, "Let's tie her up!" Her grandpa has horses, so she knows all about tying them up.

So she and one of the boys (I think it was Benaiah) "tied" me to the fence. Luckily, they're three and four years old and have no idea how to tie a knot. Nathan saw what they were doing and grabbed one of my "reins" away from them in an attempt to rescue me. They fought over me for a while. Then Gracie came back and got all upset. She screamed at them, "Your horse is my mother! Your horse is my mother!" And she got involved in trying to wrestle the reins away from Kayla, Benaiah, and Nathan. As I recall, we all ended up in a heap.

It was exhilarating.

A perfectly logical explanation.

I don't remember the last time I laughed until I cried until today reading the last 10 pages of posts!!  Even the DP loved them.

Speaking of the DP, we are trying to come up with a name for our new bakery that we intend to open in the fall in Pennsylvania  - Danville to be exact.  We've been trying to come up with a catchy name that's not too long.  I came up with one today that the DP actually liked

Dolce and Nirvana

We looked up Nirvana and one of the definitions fit the way we want to use the word.  What do you think?

Hmm... "Dolce and Nirvana" makes me think of Indian sweets.  -Which I love, but I don't think you'll be selling kulfi and halawah.

Since you'll be setting up shop in a relatively "rural" area, I'd stick to something simple and basic.  But still cute.  Hmmm... How about:

"Sugar And Nice"

Well... Maybe not that... ;)

I finished the evening watching some of the special features on the CINDERELLA III DVD. There's a search game on the disc that young children will probably like. Involves some deductive reasoning and some following directions accurately to move forward in the game.

NBC aired the last STUDIO 60 for awhile (maybe ever?) tonight, and I'll watch it tomorrow. I haven't been liking it for about a month now, but I might as well go to the bitter end with it. Will also have CSI: MIAMI from tonight to watch, and, of course, PEPE from earlier today.

A perfectly logical explanation.

Hit The Wall And Yell At The Boys, however, defies all logic. It's a lot of fun, though.

Well, this has become our fifth highest posting day, and the evening is young, which is more than I can say.  However, it's doubtful that we'll move to fourth position because that's about one hundred fifty posts away.  What a day!
