I went to Expo 67. I think that's the first place I saw "It's a Small World", before it was installed at Disney. When we lived in Seattle, it was during their world's fair, so we went on a streak for a few years which included Expo 67 and the NY World's Fair.

I think this Expo was also where we saw "The Show Go Round"---a presentaiton with a revolving stage.                                                                           .

I was born PDL, using the distinction that MUSIC GUY so aptly made,

Without looking it up, I wonder if I can make sense of it?

PDL  -- PreDisposed toward Leather? Lethargy? Laxatives? Laughter? Lesbianism? Lucidity? Luxury? Linguistics?

I'm fairly certain that each time the photo is used it duplicates itself in the photo cache.

I believe that DR Jason considerately used Photobucket, so the cache should be safe.

Our sanity, however...

At times nature can be cruel, but there is also a raw beauty, and even a certain justice manifested within that cruelty. The alligator, one of the oldest and ultimate predators, normally considered the "apex predator", can still fall victim to implemented 'team work' strategy, made possible due to the tight knit social structure and "survival of the pack mentality" bred into the canines.

Note that the Alpha dog has a muzzle hold on the alligator's snout, preventing it from breathing, while another dog has a hold on the tail to keep it from thrashing. The third dog attacks the soft underbelly of the alligator.

Well, I have done it.  What, you may ask?  I walked to work!  It's only about a mile, but I specifically moved to where I am so that I could walk to work.  So, I have finally done it. :) The only problem is that I didn't bring a lunch and now have to walk to someplace.  Fortunately, there are several restaurants close by, so that's not really a problem.  And now it's lunch time, so I'm off. :D

Now, I actually got to work at about 10:20 (which is approximately my regular start time), so I've been here for a couple of hours, but I just now remembered to post about it. ;)

Now, if there was just some way that you could animate it, you'd really be able to show your talent!! ;)

As a matter of fact you can....and here is a sample of how it turns out...my interviewee Scotty Morrow created one and sent it to me earlier this week (that is he and his friend Diane dancing). It is rather funny!

I seriously doubt that any HD format is going to be as monumentally influenced by the porn industry as VHS/Beta was. It's a totally different ball game now with porn readily available in both VHS and DVD formats. And I don't think the industry actually wants the crystal clarity of HD when the camera zeros in on butts and other private portions of anatomies, especially since lower resolution formats tend to hide the very blemishes that HD will accentuate.

I began my afternoon of viewing with another episode of DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES. This was Bree's wedding episode. As I commented during the regular season, Nora was such an annoying distraction that I wanted to hurl my show through the TV every time she appeared in a shot. The episode where she meets her maker can't come fast enough for me.
