DR Dan wrote last night re: the preview for TAR 18 (next season):

Quote
But I don't understand why the need to bring back four teams from this past season, particularly the Tattoo Couple and the Father/(annoying)Daughter team.  Also don't get the inclusion of the Goth team.  But I am looking forward to the return of the Cowboys!

I'm not sure if you saw my post from last night. But I wrote that I was annoyed that CBS showed a lot of teams that people like (or in your case hate) who are not going to be on TAR 18.  They made it seem like Brook and Claire would be on and showed them in the preview like 3 times!

I"m not 100% sure. But it seems like the cast for next season will be:
TAR 18- unfinished business
Kynt and Vyxsin
Amanda and Kris
Jaime and Cara
Kisha and Jen
Margie and Luke
Mel and Mike
Flight Time and Big Easy
Zev and Justin
Jet and Cord
Gary and Mallory
Michael and Kevin

I cannot believe the problems I've had with my last order from Warner Archive.

 ???

They had a "Black Friday" 5 for $50.00 sale, so on 11/25 I put in an order, and they billed my credit card the same day.

 :-\

The order was shipped on December 1st via UPS "Mail Innovations," which is supposed to deliver their packages to the destination city's post office.

I live in Austin, TX.

 :)

On December 7th, my package was processed through the USPS in Cincinnati, OH.

 ???

On December 11th, it passed through the USPS in Des Moines, IA.

 :o

Where it is today....?

 :P

Warner Archive is now having the order duplicated and sent to me 2-day UPS.

That could take another 7-10 days.

Ah, that makes more sense then. I would have liked to see more Brook and Clair (the QVC women)

DR Jennifer - Is it really that big a deal that the producers of "TAR" showed some teams who may not be in "TAR 18" after all?  -And is the list that you posted actually the "final" list? Even you note that you're not 100% sure.

Since the ON A CLEAR DAY drastically-revised version was expected to go from Vassar last summer to off-Broadway this fall, I'd done Alan Jay Lerner's ghost reacting to the overhaul

WHAT DID IT LACK THAT IT NOW HAS, the mellow vocal stylings of Mr. Jay-Lerner :)
parody of WHAT DID I HAVE THAT I DON'T HAVE
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5RyqrRU2rV8

It's a little "inside" - but may be funny to people who know about all the changes the Lerner estate is allowing to his work the past few years.

Good morning, all! I slept 13 hours before I decided it was time to get out of bed and accomplish something, no matter how trivial it may be. I will not leave the house today but I am taking lots of vitamin C. Before I went to bed I tok a hefty sip of Nyquil which might account for so many peculiar dreams. In the last one, I was working for NPR on a coastal trip around the USA. I was working on a big band set every day to perform charts of songs pertaining to the States we were passing through.

I have to call Ron Raines today and ascertain that all went well with Jo Loesser's trek to the opera; I hated leaving her in the lurch. I've got some writing to do here, and that's my day.

JMK beat me to it, but, yes, the 12 days run Dec 25-Jan 6, BK.

Monday morning greetings!  After sleeping quite late, I now have to do my basement walk.  It may be a couple of days before I can exercise again, because I'm seeing a podiatrist this afternoon about a funky toenail and I'm apprehensive about what he's going to have to do to it.  Surely he's seen other patients on as much blood thinning medication as I am, right?

Most of it is really left over from when we had business parties. There were a few duplicate, opened, bottles we combined and some got tossed.  Now the challenge is to drink it all up before we move again. ;)

Thanks for watching that, JohnG

I found the extent of changes allowed by the Lerner estate surprising - but now we're hearing even the Gershwin estate is allowing rewrites on their work, too!

And as to the Michael Jackson estate!!!

Loving the orchestra fail links - were those set up, or did they happen by accident, I wonder.
