I honestly don't know WHAT'S with my hair.  It never looked like that save for that day.

Are you wearing a yarmulke?

And here I am at the same event, dancing (yes, dancing) with Riv-Ellen Prell, Rivie to her friends.  You'll note that she has quite a bit of nerve being taller than my thirteen-year-old self.  This was taken in the little party room at my father's restaurant - it was off the main dining room, which was very old-fashioned and like any classic steak house.  This room was for parties and was more modern.  We all had a little crush on the waitress who's walking slightly behind and to the left of Rivie.

Bk, is the guy over your left shoulder your uncle, the mafia don?

Home from work and then rehearsal for the coat show in which the DD accompanied me.  Tonight is dinner with "pit" friends. :)

Really?  Maybe you should give each of them some deodorant.

Here is a photograph of me at my Bar Mitzvah, between my Martian parents.  For those who've read the Kritzer books (especially Kritzerland, which opens and closes with this very event), you know exactly what I am feeling in this photograph - for those who haven't read the books, the clenched fist and the expression might give you a clew.

Snazzy hair, BK!

Could your tie be any skinnier?

Richard and I celebrated National Burger Day with homemade ones and now we're settled in for NCIS reruns and the grand finale to BODY OF PROOF.

I am sorry to see BODY OF PROOF go, but at the same time, the writers did the series no favors the way they wrote Dana Delaney's character this season.  She was totally unlikeable this season, and if I hadn't been watching the show in the earlier season, I would have quit the show before now.

Dinner for me was some Havarti cheese  melted on three slices of seeded rye bread

That sounds good, but better with a slice of tomato on it.

TCB, mafia would probably not be so far off, although 1960 was a little early - shady business people came later.

Listening to a new project - my favorite kind of music - early 1960s romantic comedy by one of our greatest film composers.  Never released.

Not a woodwind. Or a strange Irving Berlin song. (But I made mine without potatoes.)

You can't have potatoes?

Never released, period?  Not even an LP?

Nope, not even an LP.  Since the film is on amazon streaming and I get that stuff for free, I'll watch it - have never seen this one - wonderful cast.

Too early for hints.  The composer is a Kritzerland regular and has written some of the greatest film scores in history.

LOL!  I guess Mr. Bernstein doing a score for a romantic comedy would be a little silly.
