Interesting how the summer there is so cold. This is the hottest summer we have had in forever. Back to school is next Wednesday and the humidex shows 43C which is probably like 100F. :(

I loved playing Al Lewis in THE SUNSHINE BOYS.....I've also played Mel in PRISONER OF SECOND AVENUE, Mr. Velasco in BAREFOOT IN THE PARK, and Felix in THE ODD COUPLE....that may be all of them unless I'm forgetting someone.

I like playing in a Neil Simon play....it's there on the page if the director doesn't get in the way.....

And I am enjoying directing BAREFOOT IN THE PARK which is funnier than I remembered it was....

Sunday evening greetings!  My friend Sharon and I traveled to Cincinnati today for Deborah’s ladies’ tea party.  She used to have this every year around her birthday (tomorrow), but skipped a couple of years when her husband was ill.  He passed away right after Christmas, as did our friend Sondra, so this event was somewhat bittersweet.  We cried, we laughed, we ate, and caught up with each other.
