Well, you've read the notes, the notes split and twisted, and now it is time for you to post until the split and twisted cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: CLADDAGH!
-
TCB, we just say that - as soon as the campaign ends, the following week all the items that can be shipped will be, save for the cast album, which won't ship until December, as we won't even be recording the vocals until the week before we open. But, for example, the Sherman CD will ship as soon as the campaign ends.
-
First post after BK!
-
I forgot the video - it's there now.
-
I forgot the video - it's there now.
Oh! I was going to ask about that.
-
I just watched it. It's a very sweet song! I really like it! :)
-
I was going to go to bed a half hour ago but I got an e-mail from a playwright whose play Rob Stevens reviewed - Rob HATED it. So this author writes me and tells me he wants me to print a rebuttal - I nicely told him we're not the NY Times and don't do things like that, and that I merely host Rob's reviews and have nothing whatsoever to do with them. He then made the mistake of e-mailing again, completely incoherent, childish, temper-tantrum stuff - my response this time was, how shall I put it, stronger and I closed by saying if I got another e-mail I would post his e-mails right here on haineshisway.com and Facebook. I mean, what an ego-maniac this dolt is. He calls his play great art - literally calls it that, and tells me I wouldn't know great art and have never seen great theatre - I haven't seen his play and won't, so what is he going on about. In a way, I hope he does e-mail back so you can all see just how stupid he is.
But then I got this e-mail just now from Joanna Erdos, who I've known since my LACC days - she comes to all the Kritzerland shows and has really enjoyed all my books, some, of course, more than others. She just finished GEE and here's what she wrote:
Dear Bruce,
I just finished the book. I couldn't put it down. This is your best book ever.
I cried three times during the story. GEE was very real and so was Peyton.
Thank you so much for writing this beautiful story.
Joanna

Good morning, all!
-
It's been an irritating evening and morning. Thatch made it impossible to give him his heart medicine last night, and I went to bed with a complete sense of frustration. This morning I'm having problems with my printer and ir's something I do not need at this moment.

DR Vixmom, Stranger in a Strange Land is one of maybe three books I never finished. I detested it.
-
Good morning,all.
-
I don’t remember much about Stranger in a Strange Land except for the sex. The book was so stilted otherwise it didn’t make me want to read any other Heinlein.
-
Good morning, all.
-
Beautiful song, BK.
-
DR Elmore, I just happen to be “in training” for taking over the administering of Poe’s medicine while Nathan and Kristi are in Florida next week. Nathan can do that stuff really well. I’m a total klutz, and I know how deeply frustrating it is to fail.
-
BK, I had been going to ask you about the Criterion. It’s SO contrasty, and soft, and I was hoping that wasn’t the way the film has always looked. Glad to hear that it isn’t. (But I do need the subtitles.)
-
Welcome home, vixmom! Hope your day is ... acceptable. :)

Good luck. It takes practice and finding the method that works best for you.
-
TCB & George thanks for the welcome home.
-
DR elmore and DR George thanks for the vibes.
-
I woke up at 3:30 and can't get back to sleep do to fduxtation6over the non appointment and concern for my elbow.
-
DR Jane I'm so sorry that your appointment got cancelled. That is really crappy of them to do when you were out of town and couldn't respond. Hopefully the new appointment is soon.
-
Wednesday morning greetings! We are waiting for the delivery of our new washer and dryer, which is supposed to happen before noon.
-
DR Jane, welcome home! I hope things begin to look up for you soon...
-
My son is on his way to Austin.
It looks like he is going to buy a house and move here.
:)
Fingers crossed.
-
Vibes for DR JANE.
-
Is that son Michael, DR DRUXY?
-
Loved the video in the notes....
I guess I forgot to come here yesterday....oh my....well both shows are moving along....
I am working on my dance for SiSTER ACT by watching the rehearsal video.....I wrote down the steps.....so I am about half way through it.
-
BAREFOOT actually looked good last night....very funny. Production photos are tonight....and then I will put the story up on the website...so I guess we are really doing this thing.
-
Welcome to PAGE TWO.
-
The new washer and dryer are being installed right now. There are the 3 delivery/installation guys, plus Richard and Rob, down there, so I'm staying out of it. It's never as easy as they make it sound in the store...
-

thanks. every delay makes me more afraid the damage will not be fully repairable
-
I'm up, I'm up - seven hours of sleep - or was it six?
-
Thanks for the nice words about the song.
-
I hope everything works out, Druxy.
-
all appointments with non surgeons have been cancelled. it seems the elbow surgeons have all been busy doing surgeries, lucky me. the supervisor is going to talk to one of the elbow surgeons when he is done operating this afternoon. i will either have a late appointment today, which would really surprise me, or see him within the next 2 days. it doesn't look like i will have surgery this week
-
i am glad i didn't get up at 3:30 this morning and go looking for keith. he was at the market.
-
Appt. vibes for DR JANE.
-
Nice song, Bk. Makes me want to hear the rest of the score.
-
I am home. Time to feed the cats.
-

Thatch is very smart. He knows every night after dinner I force him to swalloe 0.25 ml of Atenolol. After he eats, he avoids me like the plague and I have to catch him when he's dozing. He fights me like hell, and if I lose my grip on him, it's over for the night. Then around 2:00AM, he creeps into bed with Annabelle and me and curls up with us. He never holds it against me, but I hate having to plan trapping methods to administer medicine or wrestle with him over it.
-
Thatch is a smart cat. Can you give him a treat after the meds?
-
Thatch is a smart cat. Can you give him a treat after the meds?
Deli turkey.

Her name is "Jubilee." I want!
-
Good evening!
-
Glad you're home, DR Jane. Lot of vibes for you!
-
Great song, BK!

That's pretty cool, Druxy!

Her name is "Jubilee." I want!

She's so cute!
-
Long day. Meeting in the morning was an hour or so, then Taco Bell for food, then lots o' stuff to attend to. Another tiny contribution today that didn't take our percentage up. We're now lagging behind where Levi was at this point - odd given how far we got right out of the gate, but I suspect some are waiting to do it next week.
-
Going to meet some folks now - still full from Taco Bell so no food for me. Then I'm seeing this thing tonight.
-
Good evening.
-
Her name is "Jubilee." I want!
The name is perfect.
-
Three!
-
How it be only three?
-
What is this malarkey?
-
Page three? Really?
-
Anna Mae Wong in another variation of Chu Chin Chow. How much of this movie can I stand?
-
The set features three versions.
-
One was called Ali Baba Nights. The other is Abdul the Damned.
-
All are the same movie but in different edits. Go figure.
-
It was a very long day at work.
-
Taking half a Benedryl last night did not help.
-
Lots of changes coming. Most should be merely a matter of adjusting to a new procedure.
-
At least I'm telling myself that.
-
So, the phrase in this British movie version of Ali Baba and the 40 thieves is, "Open, O Sesame," not "Open Sesame." Weird.
-
Thanks for the vibes. We are out to dinner for a big meal as I will be fasting tomorrow. I did get an an appointment and surgery is at 2:00. A plate will be put in to hold the bone in place while it heals.
-
Hey, George.
-
Hi, John and Jane!
-
Well, John and Jane, it's time for me to leave work, so leave work I must.
As usually...I'll be back. :)
-
Bye, George.
-
I finished The Devil and the White City. Good read. Real-life serial killers are much more horrifying than fictional ones.
-
Now, if I can only finish Shirley Jackson's Raising Demons, which has sadly fallen apart midway through.
-
It really felt like Tuesday today.
-
The rains continued today and they're expected to last through Monday.
-
We've already had flood warnings. I wonder how much rain we can take.
-
This Friday will be the first time that I walk the four blocks from the parking garage to work in possibly inclement weather.
-
Not looking forward to it.
-
That night, I'm also ushering.
-
Saturday is La Traviata at the San Antonio Opera.
-
That one's always fun.
-
Well, we're almost to four.
-
Let's move on.
-
Four!
-
Good night, all.
-
Back from seeing this weird and kind of pointless cabaret act.
-
The Angry Playwright is asking me if he can have rebuttal to whatever I post. I've explained that my blog is not Facebook, nor is this a debate.
-
Good evening.
-
I am the angry poster and I want to post a rebuttal about this page four crap!
-
And we are barely (or even bearly) on page four.
-
Today was a beautiful day in the Pacific Northwest.
-
My friend, and former co-worker, Ken went to Shelton today for lunch.
-
We were going to the Washington State Fair, but they were closed today.
-
So, Ken wanted to go to the Little Creek for their prawns and chips.
-
I decided on a late breakfast of Biscuits and Gravy.
-
Mine was awesome.
-
But I could see why he wanted the prawns.
-
They were really huge shrimp!
-
And they were fresh, not previously frozen.
-
I am not a huge fan of prawns, but they were tempting.
-
Not that I have anything against prawns, they just aren’t my first choice for a meal.
-
Of course, I don’t usually order biscuits and gravy.
-
But it sounded good, and it was pretty darn tasty.
-
Washington state has a serial cat killer and mutilater.
-
What is this page four malarkey?
-
No more wire rebuttals ever.
-
I gotta tell you.
-
It is happening down around George’s neighborhood.
-
So far, he or she, has killed 13 cats in the last couple of months.
-
Currently there is a reward of $41,000.00 for information leading to an arrest.
-
Whoever it is, must be a real sicko.
-
And authorities are afraid the perp could move up to people next.
-
One more post.
-
Page 5
-
Well, that ugly page four is now gone.
-
But...
-
Page 5? Really?
-
It just doesn’t get easier.
-
surgery vibes for DR Jane!
-
And a very quick recovery to you.
-
Tomorrow may be our last 80 degree day this summer.
-
Break a leg vibes for
BAREFOOT IN THE PARK.
-
Well, I need to get ready for bed and take my medications.
-
Later.
-
Well, that was quick.
-
I even cleaned the litter box for Nick.
-
He didn’t say thank you, but he did nuzzle my face.
-
But I think he just likes the smell of my face cream.
-
Yes, I do use old age face cream
-
And it must be working, because my face is looking older every day.
-
Continued prayers and vibes to DR Ron!
We are here for you, so please come visit.
-
Good night.
-
Washington state has a serial cat killer and mutilater.
It's horrible!
-
Currently there is a reward of $41,000.00 for information leading to an arrest.
It's gone up! When I'd heard that there was a reward, it was only $25,000.
-
I captured it and just now was able to upload it, but Congrats to TCB's 75,000th Post!! :D
-
I'm FINALLY watching Disney's In Search of the Castaways.
-
Wilfrid Hyde-White's character sure is a pill. ::)
-
;)
-
And his son sure does a lot of what is now called "mansplaining (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mansplaining)."
-
But I'm enjoying the Sherman Brothers' songs.
-
;D
-
Well...
-
...since we're so close...
-
PAGE SIX DANCE!!
