DR Sandra is on her way to her first day at her new job. Maybe she'll get to bring a game or two home to try out. Research, you know.

I didn't see Legally Blonde, either.

Nor did I.

Is Sandra selling board games or electronic?

Oh! Oh!

While at the conference over the weekend, I almost broke into giggles. In the opening prayer, the moderator asked God to bend our wills to do his work. I could just imagine God zapping us all with a will-bender gun.

My first job was playing for Off the Wall, an improv troupe on Fairfax Avenue.  At first, they didn't pay me, but once they did, I think it was $20/show.

Andy Goldberg, Paul Willson, Wendy Cutler, Dee Marcus, sitcom creators Chris Thompson and Marc Sotkin, and a guy in rainbow suspenders whom nobody had heard of, Robin Williams.

td - So, do you still earn Border's Rewards now that your an employee?  And, if so, can you combine those with your employee discount?

Good question.
I will bring that up at the next session - October 24th.

Some sources say that there will not be a DVD of the LEGALLY BLONDE performance - and that it was licensed for six performances only on MTV.

Well...not an officially released DVD. ;) A co-worker recorded it for me and made a DVD of it and she cut out all the commercials!  AND she put all the "backstage" footage on another disc. :D I'll watch it when I get home tonight.

Anyone want a copy? :)

Okay...if anyone else wants a copy, just e-mail me your address and, as I PMed Jeanne, unless it's an absolutely horrible DVD copy, I'll send it soonly. :)

And e-mail would be easier because my PM in-box might fill up to quickly.  Thanks.

By "entertaining" I mean a show or musical that had nothing on its mind other than to entertain, but one that did so with great craft and intelligence - i.e. Guys and Dolls and the already-mentioned How To Succeed.  I'd add Promises, Promises to that pile.

I got about nine and a half hours of great sleep.  In fact, I was awakened by the doorbell ringing at ten - it was dear reader Cason coming to our meeting.  I got all together in an astonishing ten minutes.  I don't know if I feel better, although the tummy turmoil continues unabated.  At least this morning I seem to be able to breathe deeply without instantly going into  coughing fit.
