Well, you've read the notes, the notes were both weary and bleary, and now it is time for you to post until the weary, bleary cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: DISCERN!
-
Gratuitous Post #2.
-
Going through this file to add chapter breaks, I'm not putting them exactly in the same spots that the DVD has them. Out of the five that I've done so far, I slightly changed two of them. That's another reason this process takes such a long time. :P
-
I'm definitely not going to finish this tonight, but I've got a good start.

Hi, jan!
-
Well, I'm stopping the chapter adding and going to bed. Still more to be done, though.
Have a good day, all!
-
Good morning, all!
-
Yesterday, I opened another window, and I slept rather well in a cold apartment. All three cats bundled with me, so it was a very full bed.
-
I am home today with my final chart for Patrick. Joshie's spending the day preparing for Friday's Love Life orchestra reading.
-
Good morning, all.

Good morning!

Snow is coming to the DC area---up to 3 inches! Schools closing early! Even though I've lived here twice as long as I lived in Buffalo, I still chuckle at the reaction to snow here. I have to admit, though, that I avoid driving in it.
-
You're welcome, DR George! Thanks again for the DVDs!

Good morning, all.
-
Boy, talk about just squeaking in.
-
DR George, will you by any chance be offering Blu-ray copies of the HD Sweeney Todd?
-
Last night we choreographed and blocked the opening number. It went really well, so only twenty-five more to go. But...
When do we open, again?
Did you say the 31st? Oh dear.

I think that that might be possible. :)

Having a spicy bowl of seafood caldo with a margarita on the side. It’s what the doctor ordered.
-
Where is everyone today?
-
Is anyone watching tge Jeopardy champions tourney?
-
I loved watching that at Mom’s.
-
My sister Linda is getting yeoman’s work done in Louisville. She got Mom to the doctor’s office, got her meds straightened out, made Mom get a flu shot, stopped by the church with Mom to give tge preacher a gift for the service Saturday, bought cleaning items and managed to donate some of Dad’s toys.
-
I'm up, I'm up - I got eight hours of sleep, woke up later than I should, did some futzing and finessing, but no new work, rehearsal ran long, had to pick up packages, got three Subway sliders for a quick bite (barely 500 calories for the three), ate them, and am home and will do a little work, but I still have to shave and shower and be at the theater by 6:45

Impressive. I am sure you appreciate her hard work.

Yay, walked twice today & never had any rain.
-
My walking partner & I finally went for a walk today and out to coffee. We saw a sweet, friendly, handsome Bernese Dog today & I got to get some love from him.
-
It is funny. He seemed very big to me and was about the same weight Sherlock was.
-
Started watching Fiddler: Miracle of Miracles. The very beginning of the movie took my breath away. Wow. The camera opens on a New York skyline and then zooms in on, of course, a fiddler on a roof playing the opening music. Then you realize it's Sheldon Harnick playing the tune on his violin.
-
Where is everyone today?
Paying database invoices. ::)

What a coinkydink! I went to Subway for lunch today, also. I'm not a fan of them because there's too much bread as compared to the filling. And you can't (at least, locally) add any additional stuff. :P

It's been raining off and on most of the day here.

Jason Robert Brown is writing a musical version of one of the top five worst movies I've ever seen, Farewell, My Concubine. I can hardly wait for that one, I tell you.
-
I shall now be on my way to the theater.
-
How many pages did you get written today, BK?

It has been raining since an hour after we returned home.

Sweet!
His name is Shim which is sort for Shimmering Shining Rose. Their granddaughter named him ;D
-
Geez, I missed Rascal Flatts at our company's Christmas party this year and now they're announcing their retirement. I guess I will never get to see them.
-
Who are Rascal Flatts?
-
I liked the Fiddler documentary. It wasn't perfect, but it was affecting. A story of fathers and their children hit home.
-
I wanted to start this three-hour German drama I checked out of the library, Never Look Away. But there are more than 13 minutes of previews. Yawn.

When my niece was very young (probably around five years old), she named my parents' cat Happy..."because she's a happy kitty." :D

I had to look them up.

Cute 😊
-
Knowing there was no way they called their dog Rose I asked what they called him. I agreed Shim was a good name for a male dog they said it was why they agreed to the full name.
I think they also enjoyed telling the story of their granddaughter naming him 😄

Page THREE??? REALLY???
-
Don't make me get cross.
-
Back from a surprisingly fun rehearsal. I felt we got a lot done - I blocked forty-six pages - of course, most of it is two people talking, so there's that. Good cast.

Hi, Tom.
-
Today Sharry and I had our Merry Christmas/Happy Birthday lunch
-
Sharry turned 75 on December 27, but she celebrates for, at least, a month.

I can imagine that! ;D
-
She made me this incredible scrapbook of photos covering every year of the past 30 years.
-
We were first friends in the 70’s, but we drifted apart until 1989.
-
The book is fabulous!
-
We met at Red Lobster so we could visit our favorite waiter, Rio.
-
It was a lovely 2 1/2 hour lunch.
-
Fortunately, the rain stayed away this afternoon.
-
She made me this incredible scrapbook of photos covering every year of the past 30 years.
That's so cool! Was it just pictures of her life, or her theatrical endeavors?
-
By the end of the week and going into next week we are gearing up for first snow of the year.
-
We met at Red Lobster so we could visit our favorite waiter, Rio.
Nothing like having a favorite waiter!
-
I will have to be a little more mindful of the weather now that I am “on the hill.”
-
Margo and I (well, mostly me ;) ) have a favorite waiter at McMenamin's here in Olympia.
-
He knows our regular order and is fairly attentive...and quite attractive!
-
No, I don’t mean Congress.
-
Well, mostly to me.

No, it was pictures of me.

Why does it always get colder after the days start to get longer, when it all should be warming up??

And each year is marked with one of my old jokes about Sharry.

We laughed a lot.

Now I must take my medications.

Good night.

Good night, Tom.

I've been adding chapter breaks to Sweeney Todd for the Blu-ray that I'm going to burn.
-
It does take time. :-\
-
Mainly because once I select a point in the show, if I want to move even slightly to an earlier or later point, it jumps too far and I have to slowly move back to an earlier spot close to where I want to be and let it play until I reach the point that I want to be the chapter break. :P
-
Anyway, it might take a few days to go through the whole thing.
-
Most unseemly and unseemly most.
-
Listening to The Red Poppy by Reinhold Gliere - sweet.
-
Makes me want to do ballet.
-
Most unseemly.
-
And now, to resume writing and have some rice pudding in the bargain.
-
I enjoy bargain rice pudding.
