Since, Mr. Oz is posting from the future, don't you think we should get him to tell us the scores of all the Sunday football games on Saturday?  At least we should be able to prosper from our friendship with the man. ;D

It wont' work, TCB!

It would violate the space-time continuum and throw the universe out of sync if Tom revealed anything that might alter the course of history!

The last I heard Betty Hutton was working as a housekeeper for a monastary in New Hampshire and has given up show business entirely.  THIS IS NOT A JOKE.

TCB: I listened to a Cd of a "Comeback" performance by Connie (in Germany) a few years back. It was dreadful. And I am a Connie Francis fan. My most recent purchases of CF Cds was a tribute to "Buddy Holly".

Mail Call:

Oh, boy!  Lots of mail today.  A rare Gershwin album I've been waiting for finally got here, along with a lobby card from the initial theatrical release of "The Robe"!

AND A TAPE FROM SOMEONE IN MARIAN, INDIANA!

What could it be?????  Sure looks like it was prepared with fun and care!  I know I'm gonna love it!

Thanks, JRand!!!

From when he was still alive, no doubt.

Well what is the temp there today?  I seriously woke up frozen. I was not expecting -16C and that wind. I taped my windows, so hopefully that will work.

Btw, the Yukon is probably a very nice place to visit. Right now I am tracking my package to Nunavut (care of Canada post).  I can't see where it is exactly, but it supposedly takes a month to get there from here.

DR Jane wrote (in regards to someone stealing DR Emily's karma):

I wanted to believe this too (since I always like to see the good in people).  Maybe not everyone thinks of karma in the same way we do.  Oh well.

Btw, right now I am trying to find a good potato skins recipe (no frying) and no bacon and cheese. I think I am just going to try to microwave them, scoop and bake them.

DR Maya karmy is on clicksmiles under "cool"

And I LOVE MissMatch.  For some reason I could tell it was my kind of show from the previews. I think it's really cute and charming.  Oh and if she doesn't get with that architect guy soon I will SCREAM.

But where is clicksmiles?

Last time we were in L.A walking around Beverly Hills at night, they were filming MissMatch at a restaurant.  We stood outside, looking in through the window, talking to a very nice policeman-until a crew member hushed the policeman.

Hmmm I just realized I have no idea how long to bake the potato skins for (if they are already basically cooked in the microwave).  15 minutes? 30 minutes?  HELP!

Bill, I know that she was working as a housekeeper for for two parish priests, even before she came back and did Annie.  Apparently those two or three weeks on Broadway were enough to remind her about the part of show buisness that she didn't like.  I guess as long as she is happy, that is all that counts.

Hey something weird just happened. In quick reply I typed in a website and it automatically is a link. Does that also work in reply? I've always been highlighting and clicking on the hyperlink globe.

I must try this.

Let me see if this link will work if I don't highlight it.

This is the place where I was trying to find a good recipe for potato skins.

I am very limited for time today and reading the posts as quickly as possible-so thanks for the reality show alerts.  I needed them.

I didn’t notice any mention of Penny Singleton who passed away at the age of 95.

Oh, I hadn't heard the news about Penny Singleton.  That is sad, but, hopefully, she did have a long rich life.

Buddy Greco DR Ron. He fronted a group called the Cicadas. Or was it Buddy Rich and the Weavils.

Hello.  So many posts from yesterday and today!  It's hard to catch up if you miss even a day at a site so popular as this one.  :D

I really enjoyed seeing all the pictures of you DRs performing and as kids!  So cute.  It makes the current pictures all the more adorable, if that makes any kind of sense.

DR Tom - every time I go to a concert or show, I see someone who looks like you.  I think you have one of those faces..

DR TCB - I'm late on the subject, but I love the ascot.

Re: today's topic.  I don't think there is anything in my media players at home - I cleaned the house last night because I have friends coming, so I put everything away.

I had turkey chili from the Soup Nazi today for lunch.

Bake them until they look done to your taste.  Are you after a soft or crunchy skin?  I personally don't care for potatoes that have been cooked in the microwave oven.  I prefer a crunchier skin.
