T.O.D.
I have nothing in any device, because I have four shows this weekend, a day off on Monday, and then a morning matinee on Tuesday.
I am not happy about that.
We have a 7:30 a.m. call on Tuesday morning, which meansI have to leave for the theater at 6:45 a.m.
Although, they have cancelled our two club performances on our last week.
I am not coping well with this check I've been expecting since I turned in the invoice on Oct. 17. I open my mailbox each day hoping for a payment and fearing a notice that I've lost my Medicare or my utilities and cable/TV/phone are being turned off. This is not how I expected to spend the last part of my life.

I get a lazy morning today :D
Is Facebook down, or acting oddly for anyone?
Yeah, it's up. I'm in okay via the iPad.
My browser on my laptop had me logged out for some reason. And whenever I see FB wanting me to log in, I just naturally get suspicious! :)
In other (and more exciting) news, I see that the Off-Broadway Yiddish Fiddler on the Roof is getting a cast recording. I look forward to hearing that. I really wanted to see it and I'm hoping it's going to be around later.
I got the text message a few minutes ago saying that we're closed until at least noon, that a contractor is working on the problem, and they'll send another update when they have more info.

I believe it's transferring off-Broadway.
A Carol Christmas CDs will be ready today. That's good.

Well, both my cat and my bladder seem to have other ideas. ::)
So, when I got my flu shot last night I asked about getting a pneumonia shot as well.
I'd been given my first one a year ago and they told me I have to know which one it was, because there are two. You get one, then you wait a year, and then you get the other one. And then theoretically, for most people, you don't get any more. I didn't remember ever hearing that, but I just checked with the doctor's office and they confirmed it and told me which one I'd gotten. So I'll head back over to Walgreen's probably tomorrow and get that second one.
Who the hell would've been flushing latex gloves??

Thanks, DRs George and Jane! There was nothing in today's mail either. This is really stressing me out.
Two sets of neighbors walked by while I was working in the yard and asked why I was removing plants. I told them a neighbor complained. They both were sad and said they enjoyed the butterflies and the plants in my yard. One neighbor was very excited about the monarch caterpillars and left with the determination to plant some milkweed in his yard.
MEGA MONEY VIBES to Larry!
May you soon be flooded with checks and other good news!

I prefer to separate my vaccinations to avoid/enhance reactions.
You really should be keeping a personal record of all of your vaccinations as well as medical information.
Given all the stress today I appreciate merchants who have a sense of humor and make routine shopping fun.

I agree about separating vaccinations, especially for those of us who tend to be sensitive or have allergies.
It really is the responsibility of the medical practice to keep track of all the medical data, but in my experience they often do a poor job. Given that they have all the information in the computer it would be sooo easy to either give the patients hardcopy or have something they could print themselves. When I was at UCLA I asked a couple times for a summary of my test results. What I received was difficult to even make sense of. Does the blame belong to the IT departments or to the senior managers who seem to want to keep patients in the dark? Maybe both. It then falls to the patients to check everything out and be more knowledgeable than they should have to be. Pray that you get informed and conscientious staff, but be informed yourself in case you don't.
I think that'll be my rant for the day.
Back from picking up some packages including this year's Christmas cards, so for once I'll get them out early. Also got a loverly early birthday present from FJL and his ever-lovin' Skip. I really must try not to eat it all at once. Helper has come and is on his way to get CDs, which he'll then bring right back to me, after which I'll mosey on over to the theater.
And thankfully the pension check, as it's supposed to, arrived a day early - so happy there was no repeat of last month.
We happened to mention to a waitress, who always visits with us even though she is ending her shift, that we will be away next week celebrating my birthday. Well the news was shared with other members of the staff who stopped to wish me a happy birthday.
A Carol Christmas CDs will be ready today. That's good.

Oh, I forgot. BROKENWOOD MYSTERIES season 5 starts Dec 3 on Acorn TV.
(That's good news for me and for John G, too, I think.)

Personally I would have preferred if Keith had focused the photo on the plate instead of me, still it is a fun photo. DR George if I send it to you do you have time to post it?
Day one of the competition was fun, as it was supposed to be. It was all the specialty dances and country, so there was a little two-step, polka, hustle, merengue, bachata and salsa. I was ready for it to end, though, after more than 20 dances.

You had to dance 20 dances?? Or were there more than 20 dances in the whole completion?

I'm just about to leave work, but I can post it when I get home, if you don't mind waiting. :)

I just emailed it.
94 year old George HW Bush died tonight.
Back from an excellent performance. Smallish house - about thirty-five, which is very disappointing for week three, but they were a great audience and loved the show. We sold four CDs after, so that's good, too.
I'm not sure when he's going in - could be tomorrow, could be Monday.
I found out I am not the only cast member who is angry about the daily line notes.
Are you all going to gang up and put a stop to it?
;)

Unfortunately, there is no stopping it, but I found out that several cast members immediately pitch their notes in the trash.
