Someone, and I think it might have been FJL, was asking about the Susan Boyle musical. Well, this offers an update:

Belgium?
Hello, goodbye. And I see you have left. So, goodbye, hello.
I have returned
Thank you for the vibes; the meeting went quite well, and we will be recording DEAREST ENEMY in August in Dublin. While there are things to be worked out, the hurdle is cleared and everyone's happy and excited. We've got Kim Criswell for Mrs Murray, and I'm hoping that we can get Julian Ovenden, who's recording a Rodgers & Hammerstein album next month, for our juvenile lead. That would be spectacular. I still hear from people who saw him in "Death Takes a Holiday" rave about how amazing he and his voice was. Of course, he'll always be Foyle's son.
So, is Tuesday the day to drink Belgian beer?tuesday....

While I was at Rodgers & Hammerstein, Ted Chapin gave me a copy of his "Stage Door Canteen" recording. I look forward to listening to it tomorrow morning.

This is from Australia's Got talent - an apprentice plumber does a strip but while not a great singer, for a stripper, he's not that bad a singer - and the judges let his "act' go on
Very entertaining, though maybe partly NSFW

Angels exiled for Easter! Does Fr. Richard know of this apostasy?

My dear wife is doing fine, though typing is a bit of an issue.
I was delightfully surprised this morning when I discovered that I had sold a Kindle edition of my Orson Welles play in Spain.
If you are not familiar with the 1985 version....well, just click here for the trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QBr5oyjKsdQ (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QBr5oyjKsdQ)
You'll be happy that you did! ;D
I have finally come up for air, eaten a salad and a bagel, picked up the two charts I needed and am happy to say that all books have shipped. Has anyone who's purchased the Kindle or Sony e book of the new book read it?
VIBES DR TCB RECEIVES GOOD NEWS TODAY!!!
I am happy.
The leading lady was a bit - uh - heavy. ;D

I've started to read it!
Do you want to know about typos? :-\
Love this clip of Julian Ovenden and Sierra Boggess:

First a flight attendant, now a pilot! A JetBlue pilot had to be restrained by the passengers after he became incoherent (apparently the co-pilot locked him out of the cockpit when he left to use the restroom). What next?

Just type in the box & then click on "preview" if you need to. ;)
DR TCB I'm glad to see you. Have you had your doctor's appointment today?
I can't believe you people were looking at the Tarzan actress in that clip, instead of at the Tarzan!
The box at the bottom of the page that I'm currently typing in. I figured you were using it if the "reply" option wasn't there. At the bottom of this box is says "post" & "preview"
I don't know why but I thought you were going again today. Monday you will find out if you can have surgery on Tuesday?

Then there is the Jump to: box, but nothing else.

Morning all.
DR TCB your friend must belong to a different phone company. I have Virgin Mobile and I pay $25.00 flat for 300 any time minutes, unlimited internet and text. You will pay $35.00 a month because they raised their price but I was grandfathered in because I had the plan before it went up.
You will need to go to their website and look at the different plans if you need more minutes.
Vibes for DR Larry's meeting and to everyone who needs them!

Thank you! :)
You're welcome, Jane!
I am home from seeing the Hunger Games! I am still trying to formulate what I thought of the movie. I did like it a lot and would rate it somewhere between a 7.5/10 to a 9/10. Need to think about it more.
I will say that Jennifer Lawrence is very good as Katniss. The 2 1/2 hours just flew by. They were very true to the book (although it's been more than 1 1/2 since i read it).
For absolutely no reason whatsoever, I decided to add a "customer image" to Amazon's Kindle Keyboard (http://www.amazon.com/Kindle-Keyboard-Free-Wi-Fi-Display/dp/B004HZYA6E/ref=cm_cmu_pg__header).
If you click HERE (http://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-media/product-gallery/B004HZYA6E/ref=cm_cmu_pg_newSort?ie=UTF8&totalImages=58&pageSize=10&sort=newest¤tImagePage=0¤tImagePageOffset=0¤tImageID=mo3RMRJ6UNMSHF8&action=newSort&page=0), this is sorted by "Most recently added" and mine should be first. :D
DR Cillaliz re: SMASH. IT has been renewed for season 2. And what i read sounds very interesting, especially if you like to see a show develops.
DR TCB do you remember ever having symptoms that might have been a heart attack? I suppose it would help to know how long ago this happened, if it did.
I went back and modified my post. It should say it has been a ywar and a half since I read the book.I am home from seeing the Hunger Games! I am still trying to formulate what I thought of the movie. Good. I'll wait to see it instead of reading the book.
Tonight we are watching the US film of THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO.
Did you log in on your cell phone? Or are you a "guest" on the cell phone?

If there are any typos left in this book you'll have to take it up with the THREE people who proofed it - then you can take it up with me, because I also proofed it three times. However, if there are any left, we're in very good company with John Steinbeck, James Agee, J.K. Rowling (the queen of typos and mistakes - her proofers ought to be run out of town on a rail), etc.
I did notice on the Kindle version some weird formatting things.

I didn't find any spelling mistakes, just a few rogue spaces ("So ndheim") and hyphens ("Sond-heim") and paragraph breaks. :)
How are you feeling, DR TCB?
Well, I'm off to a special TAO board meeting. We lost our performing space and need to figure out what to do. Fortunately, we have some time (we weren't supposed to start rehearsals for "Titus Andronicus" until May), but probably just about anything we find will cost more than what we had. Wish us luck!!"Titus Andronicus"! I love it. I saw an outer space rock musical version of it about the time that "Star Wars" came out. I think even at 10 or 12, I knew it was cheesy when a character grabbed a microphone out of a rock before he started to sing. But, hey, it was a foodie musical with that pie featuring the queen's two sons. Yeah!
Be back later.
DR TCB do you remember ever having symptoms that might have been a heart attack? I suppose it would help to know how long ago this happened, if it did.I will say that the heart on the ultra sound is a lot worse looking than the adorable unborns you always see.
I finally understand everything about my Social Security Disability. The check I already received was for January and February. I should receive my March check deposited tomorrow, and on the fourth Wednesday of each month.
Bad news is that I will not qualify for Medicare for two years. So for the next two years, my state retirement check will be small, becuase I will have to keep my state retirement insurance until January 2014
Just finished watching "Sweet Charity" all the way through for the first time in ages. The movie is too realistic and as a result, too sad. The opening where she's pushed in the water is horrifying, not funny. And Shirley just isn't good enough as a dancer.

Those are ALL Kindle problems - there are no problems like that in the printed book - anywhere. - it's weird but I suppose they'd have to go through by hand to correct every one of those things and there are probably a lot - it's why I don't really do eBooks.
DR Jane I know you explained your reasons. But I would still read the book first vs seeing the movie. I don't even know if dystopia will be your style. But uncovering the plot for the first time in the book was so special.
It plays more like a comedy on stage. that could be the Neil Simon libretto.Just finished watching "Sweet Charity" all the way through for the first time in ages. Isn't it supposed to be sad? I'm not a fan of the movie though I have nothing else to compare the story to.

Decidedly different.
I did understand the lyric of "Tarzan, my Tarzan," but I couldn't quite understand why she kept singing "Ho." Unless it was something introspective that just didn't translate.

Jennifer, no favorites yet for DANCING WITH THE STARS?
I don't know if I like dystopia books. I enjoys the movies.
I don't know if I like dystopia books. I enjoys the movies.
Dystopia is the biggest craze in YA right now. And one of my favorite categories. I can't get enough of it.
I know really know if any of these books would be your cup of tea. I don't suspect you read much YA. The biggest dystopian book of last year was probably Divergent by Veronica Roth.
If anyone is interested in the financials on J Michael Tuscan Steakhouse in Northport, New York, just let me know. It seems like someone has mistyped Kaufman as Kauffman and is including me on their cash reconciliation documents, despite the fact that I have called them and informed them of the error.
I've read the book, and the one error that really struck me is you referencing your Maguire Sisters take on "Another Hundred People", which was actually "Not Getting Married." (I flew through the book - I thought it was marvelous.

Those are ALL Kindle problems - there are no problems like that in the printed book - anywhere. The reason it does that has to do with where lines are breaking in the eBook - if, for example, in the printed book an end of sentence reads Stephen Sond- and the "heim" is hyphenated to the following line, then the eBook doesn't correct that should the line fall in the middle of a sentence rather than the end - it's weird but I suppose they'd have to go through by hand to correct every one of those things and there are probably a lot - it's why I don't really do eBooks. But rest assured, there are 0 formatting issues in the real book.
