Well, you've read the notes, the notes were ground, and now it is time for you to post until the ground cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: REFECTION!
-
First post after BK!

In response to Jrand's post from yesterday:
~~~Credit Card Vibes for Jrand!!~~~
In response to Elmore's post from yesterday:
That's a great Amazon box house, Larry! :D
-
I just tried to get in an Amazon box - it didn't go that well.
-
Listening to music and relaxing.
-
Well, I need to get some sleep now.
Good night, BK, and have a good day, all!
-
Good morning to all
-
Good morning.
-
I'm keeping Annabelle and Elmore in my thoughts today. I hope it all goes well and nothing serious is found.
-
Good morning, all.
Good morning, all!
I'm dealing with two hungry kittens at the moment. I cannot feed Thatch until Annabelle's inside her carrier, and I don't want to put her into it until it's about time to leave.
-
Good morning, all.
-
After I drop her off at the vet, I will head down to City Center. Joshie is back from vacation and he's golding my last Encores! check. I have no idea how long it will be before the vet contacts me to pick her up.
-
The morning carrier/feeding shuffle. I know it all too well.
-
That's essentially my day. This will be my last day of work on Encores! for a week. Tomorrow I must begin my final tax work before I see my accountant next Monday.
-
I love the typo "golding my check"
Vibes for DR ELMORE & DC ANNABELLE.
Important envelope vibes for MR BK.
It'll look so nice, he won't want to deposit it!
No candelabra, DR Jrand67?
-
Well, I seem to have cleared the room quickly and efficiently. I should put this talent to use and hire myself out.
-
It took 90 minutes to go 12 miles to work. I think it’s a new record for the seven years I’ve worked here.
-
San Antonians can’t drive in the rain.
-
I woke up thinking about Annabelle and DR elmore. Vibes all goes well and the vet can fix her problem.
-
I finished reading the posts last night and realized I forgot to mention my mother's delicious custard pie. I wish I had some now.
At some point she discovered Johnston's frozen custard pie was good and began keeping one in the freezer for a quick treat.
-
Oh joy, it's snowing. Lightly but enough to make it slippery out there. I remember when seeing snow fall was said with true joy and excitement, not sarcasm ;D
-
Two!
-
Snow vibes for Jane.
-
Just got word that my great-niece Jessica is 3 months pregnant. Good stuff.
-
Tuesday morning greetings! It's weirdly warm here - more like late March or early April than February 20. I'm afraid we're gonna pay for this...
-
Vibes for Annabelle!
-
Last Thursday it was so balmy and nice here, it felt exactly like winter was now past us and it was the first day of spring. Haven't been out yet, but I suspect it's that way again today. It certainly looks that way, with our 2-day-old 8 inches of snow nearly gone! Tomorrow will be insane, with it getting near 70.
-
Snow vibes for Jane.
Thanks-lol. It really is very light and I don't have anywhere to go today.
My walking partner had to back out due to an issue. I am relieved she did not need to take me up on my offer to drive her anywhere today. I was looking forward to hot chocolate & pumpkin bread at the coffee shop.
-
Just got word that my great-niece Jessica is 3 months pregnant. Good stuff.
Congratulations!
-
Not surprising it is 32 degrees here. DR Jennifer I believe it is colder here than where you are.
-
I am home from City Center and waiting to hear when to pick up my baby.
Dr Mohr called me around 11:30 to tell me the procedure was about to begin and that she wanted to confirm there is no heart murmur (Big Sigh of relief!) and that she had a slight temperature and fast heart beat that she attributed to Annabelle's fright and anxiety. I'm expecting the pickup call in the next 30 minutes.
-
Expected news on the heart murmur but still good to hear. It was very nice of the doctor to call you himself with the news.
Fingers crossed on the rest of it.
-
Continued vibes for Annabelle.
-
I forgot the candelabra DR JOHN G - that has been corrected.
-
Vibes for Annabelle! (And her daddy!)
-
Expected news on the heart murmur but still good to hear. It was very nice of the doctor to call you himself with the news.
Herself. Dr Mohr is a very pretty blonde. I would swear that on the first examination Dr Mohr said she thought she heard a heart murmur,. so I'm happy that is now settled.
-
The good news is that I can pick her up now.
There are no polyps anywhere and that's a Big Relief. Dr Mohr thinks the problem could be caused by infection in her broken fang - so dental work is the next project - or possibly an allergy. We'll continue till we fnd the source.
-
Thank you all for the vibes and good thoughts! The saga continues.
Thatch has been very flirtatious and playful this past hour. He's so adorable.
-
I forgot the candelabra DR JOHN G - that has been corrected.
And ChasSmith, too.
-
Thank you all for the vibes and good thoughts! The saga continues.
Thatch has been very flirtatious and playful this past hour. He's so adorable.
And loves the solo attention, I’m sure.
-
Sounds like very good news, DR Elmore.
The dental (if not the expense) is easily taken care of, when the time comes.
-
I remembered a man, sorry to insult her ;)
-
DR elmore, good news/bad news. I suspect the dental work would need to be done by a proper veterinarian demist vs your regular veterinarian. I hope I am wrong.
Continued vibes for Annabelle & Thatch and money vibes for DR elmore!
You didn't. You had other things to remember. Thatch and Annabelle both have very pretty doctors keeping them healthy. I like that each of them has a different doctor.
-
She's eating for the first time today. I was advised to give her very little food for a couple of hours, so she had a small portion of chicken livers and hearts.
She's really hungry!
I have the impression you're wrong and that Dr Mohr will take care of that. I will schedule that for next month.
Everyone at City Vet told me how sweet Annabelle was. It's true. From the moment I met her, she's wanted nothing but to bond with people.
-
Good news for Annabelle
-
Three!
-
I'm up, I'm up - alarm didn't go off and I overslept - about nine hours of sleep.
-
DR JRand, sorry to hear about your credit card news. I have my credit card set up so that it sends me an email every time the card is used. I find this super helpful. And it gives me comfort to know that I would know right away if someone else used it.
-
I don't want to jinx it. But I wonder if winter might be over. The temps have been so mild lately. It is wonderful. We have had such a horrible winter. Hopefully the huge snow piles will continue melting.
-
Not surprising it is 32 degrees here. DR Jennifer I believe it is colder here than where you are.
It is so warm here now. I am happy. Is 32F cold for you? To me that seems very warm. Right now it's 37F, which feels so warm. Honestly, even though it's ridiculous I have seen people wearing shorts outside (not many people, but still).
-
Elmore, I hope your little princess isn't too angry with you.
-
Oh joy, it's snowing. Lightly but enough to make it slippery out there. I remember when seeing snow fall was said with true joy and excitement, not sarcasm ;D
This is what the field next to my work's parking lot looks like this morning:
Is this considered a lot of snow? Honestly we have piles that are 10 feet high. So I am hopeful that we are done with snow.
-
Great news about Annabelle. More kitty vibes!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
-
Elmore, I hope your little princess isn't too angry with you.
She seems groggy, not angry.
-
I was really off. I thought DR Mohr was a specialist for the proceedure. I do recall your regular vets are women.
He got a lot more than we did. It has been a mild winter, fortunately for us.
-
My new fleece line waterproof, windproof pants arrived in the mail today. I am going to test them and see if they keep me warm. It is not really wet enough out there to truly test if they are rainproof.
No, this isn't a lot of snow, even for Olympia. But 10 feet high snow is absolutely unheard of in this area! We're too close to the water (Puget Sound) to get a lot more...normally. We'd never get that unless the world was ending. ;)
I am going to be spending a week in Maine at the end of April. Lobsters and books.
-
DR CHAS SMITH.......thanks for the heads up DR JOHN G. I can only say chemo brain.
-
DR ELMORE I see your Dr. Mohr and raise you one Dr. Tsai.
Wow that's almost life sized!
-
I forgot the really good news. Today the elevator was being inspected and the lights on the operating panel were lit up.
-
DR ELMORE I see your Dr. Mohr and raise you one Dr. Tsai.
I am so puzzled!
-
Annabelle's lights are on but no one's home. She looks like my baby, she has some of my baby's attributes, but she's not behaving much like my cat. She like the evil things that come back from Pet Sematary.
Should I be worried or blame it on the drugs?
-
It's the drugs.
Don't be worried. She was sedated, and that knocks some of them for a loop. Our boy Poe isn't himself the rest of the day when he's had that. And we saw it a few years back in little Kali, who was built more like Annabelle. In fact, one of the times she was sedated she was weird for TWO days.
All you really have to do is watch over them as it slowly wears off. Try not to let her climb up high, for instance, lest she lose her balance. And don't worry if her appetite's off.
-
You could get snow in April.
I'm up, I'm up - oh, wait... Picked up a package, did some banking, and had an egg salad sandwich.
I remember snow piles like this when we lived in Massachusetts.
Hello, everyone.
:o :) :o :)
I just returned from the dentist. Yes, again. With the hygienist today for the last of the root planing. God, will I be glad when this is all over!
-
Jrand, sorry to hear about your credit card number being stolen. I'm confident that it'll be sorted out quickly, but it is MOST annoying.
I can imagine. It is made more difficult when the work bothers your jaw for a long time after everything else has healed.
-
Larry, yes, the tub overflowing is something anyone could do. I'd be surprised if there isn't some sort of device that fits the tub and beeps or something. A truly forgetful person might not know what the phone alarm was for. But, then again, they might not recall what the tub beep is for. Life is full of gotchas.
Yes, even in DC we had snow in May once!
I never bought any waterproof pants, but I was certainly tempted. I can really see the need.
YAY!! And DOUBLE YAY!!
-
Well, I have dental brain.
I shall curl up with a book, then nap if I can.
TTFN.
After I posted about Annabelle's condition, she started showing signs of her old self. She's even beginning to remember who I am and that she loves me.
I was just adding my handsome doctor's photo to your photo of Annabelle's lovely doctor.
Gratuitous Post #100!
Of course we still do not know when the elevator will be in service officially but it was sure nice to see the end is nigh.
I really needed them our first spring here. More than just waterproof the fleece lining is warmer, and that I need right now. I have never walked in so much rain. I still wouldn't have any if my neighbor hadn't given me a few different styles she picked up. After I ordered these she gave me a different style to try I liked better, but I wanted to wear them today. I am also 1 size down from her and there was no guarantee the other pants would have fit in my size.
I still have my old snow pants, but I think that is a bit too much for here. Did you used to wear ski pants in the winter?
-
After I posted about Annabelle's condition, she started showing signs of her old self. She's even beginning to remember who I am and that she loves me.
It is disconcerting when they are still groggy and not themselves. I recall picking Echo up once and she trotted to the car just fine. After we got her home she kept tipping over and we were worried. The vet was shocked when I called. We figured she just wanted to go home so much she pretended to be fine. Once home she turned into the baby she was-lol After a few hours she was fine.
-
Good evening!
Glad to hear Annabelle's back to her old self!
Tonight Vixdad was working late so I decided to take my Mom to dinner
-
We went to the Texas Roadhouse .
-
As we were driving there she told me she had a big lunch and wasn't that hungry so she would just have a salad
-
I , on the other hand, hadn't eaten since dinner last night
-
I decided instead of my usual 6 oz sirloin to splurge on the 14 oz bone in rib eye
-
and I picked my own steak...it was marvelous , and I still have a little more than 1/2 left for tomorrow
-
The waitress was from the Vixter's time ther and she remembered us and asked after her.
And she tOok excellent care of us and we had a prime booth and a small bill so I totally overtipped her
-
But since I expected to buy my Mim a full meal instead of just a house salad I still spent less than I had expected
-
Been relaxing. I think the final PDF of the book is going to Doug tonight. I got the six fixes and, of course, immediately found one other, which is now fixed. There's a fun little photo gallery in the back of the book - total page count with that and the acknowledgements is 230.
I'm binge-watching Doctor Thorne.
Absolutely not ....I had the best seat in the house at 54 below
Bedtime for this gal....goodnight all
Book pre-orders will go up this week for sure. Thanks to some helpful help, the flap copy is now done.
This is the Pacific Northwest, I will have plenty of opportunities to test them while walking in the rain. If I get wet it will still be better than what I usually wear.
I can be bad about not eating but that is too long. Do you keep protein bars or something at work?
That can and does happen a lot. I have an app on my phone where I can resize photos that I take, and it's able to make them small enough to post that way.
-
I guess I need an app on my phone.
-
Good evening.
-
Nick and I fell asleep watching the Olympics tonight.
-
I woke up in time to go to bed.
-
Well, this is pretty cool. With "Black Panther" just opening and me having seen it, I've seen (but not necessarily read) a lot of articles about the movie, and I came across this one earlier today and did read it: A Complete Timeline of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (Photos) (https://www.thewrap.com/a-complete-timeline-of-the-marvel-cinematic-universe-photos/). If you're not a fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies, feel free to not click on the link. :)
Yes, that would be the one.
