Well, you've read the notes, the notes spoke lovingly of Spivy, and now it is time for you to post until the Spivy cows come home.

Tonight was going to be the rescheduled reading of act two of Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, but we got another FB message yesterday saying that it needed to be pushed back another week.  Gary, who's organizing this, said that it absolutely WILL happen next week!

I don't know what happened (is happening?).  I just hope that everything will be okay.

This afternoon I see Dr Aronoff, the surgeon who removed my appendix, and we will learn the results of the surgery.  I like the surgeon, but I hate his office building.  It's a long walk through the lobby and a lot of steps before you reach the elevator, and with this tendonitis or whatever it is, I a,m not looking forward to this walk.  I will taxi over and taxi back.

After kitty cleanup, I will bathe and shave, then lounge around until it's time to go.

On my walk to the post box yesterday, I ran into our super Jeff, and I asked him if the nice young man who repaired the buzzer might be interested in coming over once a week for a couple of hours to help me with things I'm currently unable to do, like change kitchen light bulbs, drag down things I'm unable to reach, like cat food.  I could sure use him this morning to bring down a new container of coffee.

I had strange dreams last night but I only remember bits of one with our lovely DR vixmom, and it's so vague now I could not tell you if we were in a subway station, a hospital lobby, or a hotel.

The Facebook bastards have blocked me for seven days.  Evidently, saying anything adverse about a piece of scum named Betsy DeVos is censorable and a violation of the FB sense of decency.  It's even funnier, since DeVos' actions toward students and education prove this entitled "Christian" lady lacking all sense of decency, humanity, and education.

I've ordered my brother Randy a gift card for tomorrow, and it's time for cleanup.  Stella has once again overturned the bathroom waste basket and I have paper to clean up was well as the usual litter and dishes.

Well, it seems I'm going to have to take out my season five of Alfred Hitchcock.

And bring myself up to date on Madame Spivy.

The bath was my biggest concern this morning for several reasons.  I have to step into the tub and at the moment I could barely stand on my left leg, and I was worried about getting the incisions wet, although by now I suspect there's no issue.  While the water ran, I sat on the edge of the tub, soaped up, and washed my hair.  I did not sit in the water but knelt on my knees, shaved, rinsed off, asnd then rinsed my hair.

Surprisingly, the kneeling appears to have been good for my left ankle because at the moment I'm moving about with no pain! Go figure.

As soon asI finish breakfast, I will make the bed and then get back to my orchestration.  I'll leave for the doctor around 3:00 after feeding the cats.
