My sister sent my brother in law to Big Lots to buy 10 grass skirts....he came back with 10 table skirts, and he still doesn't know what he did wrong.

Good morning, all! I slept late, had a few bizarre dreams, and here I am, ready to tackle more Oz and Toyland issues! I'm also in the midst of identifying unmarked John McGlinn CDs, which I either discard if it's of no value, download into my iTunes if it's a performance I don't already have, or , in the case of session recordings and radio interviews, I put it into the pile of things along with the downloaded CDs to go to the Library of Congress per his will. A lot of CDs have turned out to be blank, but I have zillions to go through.

The photos of last night's gathering look great. I wish I could have been there.

Good morning all.
We had a wonderfully wonderful time last night seeng Brain. I was totally new to the show so I was able to hear everythng for the first time, and I loved it all. The songs are clever and catchy and the book is hilarious! I thought the Olympia people did a marvelous job.  DR George was great, of course. I thought the Joyce in particular was truly amazing. All in all, I laughed, I chuckled, I gaffawed, I think I even giggled a few times, and loved every minute.

Seeing BK, TCB, MBarnum, and George was perfectly delightful. It was great to reconnect with some dear HHW people again.  There truly is something special about the people here. I also very much enjoyed meeting David, who was quite charming and pleasant.  I had a delicious chicken cesear salad for dinner, and sadly no dessert after the show...but that's probably all the better for my waist line.

All in all, a great time was had!

Very, very windy here today.  Dixie and I breezed through our walk, hoping we wouldn't end up in Munchkinland.

Just out of bed, and getting ready to head off to help a friend celebrate her birthday.

Last night was a delightfully delightful evening!  Dining with MBarnum, George, Ann, and our special guests BK and David Wechter was most wonderful.  The food was good, the conversation better, and all too soon it was time to head down the street to the theater.  THE BRAIN FROM PLANET X was very amusing, and our own DR George was was very very very (that is 3 verys) good.  After the show David and BK held a brief talkback with the audience and the cast.  Then I had to wuss out, rather than join the after-theater hijinks.  I took a few photos after the show, but I will have to try and download them later.

And best of all, I got my own copy of BK's book, which I can't wait to start reading.

Oh what a night!  Glad to hear that the "Brain" gathering went well.  Rent is going well and is winding down.  2 more shows to go.  Love the show, the experience, the cast, but will love putting it to bed as well.  On to other (not necessarily bigger and better) things.  Looks like it's kids from now until August when Sunset Blvd auditions.  (except for some pit work - Little Shop... and La Cage...)   Still waiting for bk's book, but like DR Ginny, I ordered later, so I'm hoping it comes soon.

Travel vibes for bk and Mr Wechter

Oh...

DR td - The other day, DR Jane had mentioned something about checking to see if you Facebook(?) account had been hacked. Well, did you check your Yahoo! account too? -If you have a Yahoo! account that is.  I checked my spam folder and I had three spam email from your Yahoo! account - well, at least someone listed at "td". So...  *I also received some similar spam emails from another friend of mine - and his account had been hacked.

That was DR JMK who had pointed out that my facebook may have been hacked; I checked and it hadn't been.

On the other hand, Janet Fanale had emailed me privately earlier in the day to tell me about the Yahoo mishap.

I promptly changed my password on Yahoo, and for good measure went and changed the password on Facebook as well.

TD, I got what looked like a spam friend recommendation from you, hence my comment about your Facebook account.

DR MBARNUM what is that design on your shirt?  Most interesting.  Sorry you didn't get your pie, but at least you saved that money.

Ah yes, but money is only money, but pie is pie.

I left the gang at about 6:30.  My call time was supposed to be 6:00...fortunately, no one complained when I got to the theater late, though. ;) We had a great audience.  I have to admit that many of us were peeking at the audience (well, at BK and David) from off-stage every chance that we could get.  I never saw BK or David without a smile every time that I was able to peek!  It was fun watching them watch us! ;D
