DR Cillaliz, it's my friend Sal Viviano performing.  Go!

Yes, Sal is one of the performers listed....Ok. That's a good enough reason for me. It doesn't start until 8:00 PM so I have plenty of time to get there.

And Sal and his wife, Liz Larsen (who recently starred in DR Noel's show for NYMF) have recorded several songs for BK! :D

I still have that dang cough that's been hanging  around since Octobe .. and if I sneeze anymore my nose will fall off.. which will be a relief because it is so friggin' sore

you must not find relief by loosing your nose ;D

seriously, i've been there & it isn't fun.  u need to clear up this cough before the cold weather sets in.  get well vibes!

Thanks!

DR GEORGE great new avvy!
And thanks!

There are SO many different options that you can choose!  You can make it sort of look like almost anyone.  And you can collect points or coins or something like that and get some more advanced options...I didn't.  This is all free. :)

I don't know how long I'll keep it, though. ;)

Well, I need to leave work (the building is closing and I don't have a key or the code ::)).  I'm ushering a little bit later tonight for the Capital City Jazz Band Festival.  It should be quite fun!

td-THANK YOU for the wonderful photos and description of your visit.  I'm so very happy you were all able to meet up.

I had thought to return to your beautiful city before now.  I'm hoping for a visit in May when Craig graduates.

But just a reminder that per DR ArnoldMBrockman, these new items aren't shipping until Feburary '08, and they may be available in the US more inexpensively.

DR Ginny, you have to find out for me where the nearest equivalent around Middletown is to the late CD place near the mall.  CD Connection, was that its name?

CD Connection isn't out by the mall anymore?  Sheesh, I spend so little time here in town and rarely shop here.  Anyway, I think they still have a store up around Dayton Mall.  And, on Brown St., near the University of Dayton, there's a place called Second Time Around, where I've found some good things.  Their selection is best at the end of UD's semesters - might be a little early when you're here next week.

And, in the Cincinnati phone book, I just found a place down by King's Island called Spin Again Music.

Nat Chandler's also performing in the concert.  He and Jason Graae were in my first showcase TALES OF TINSELTOWN and Nat never returbned my vocal score to WEST SIDE STORY.  I've never forgiven him.

Curly-top here got home in time to see the second half of the Michigan-Wisconsin game, which turned out badly for the Wolverines.  Something possessed me to then tune into the Ohio State-Illinois game, which turned out even worse (more at stake) for the Buckeyes.  Next week will be the first time since 1959 that Michigan and Ohio State will meet having lost the week before.  And the Buckeyes were not gracious losers, I'm just sayin'...

It's freezing in this apartment! We haven't had heat in the building for the past 10 days and all the neighbors are up in arms with the landlord for neither notifying us when the boiler work began nor for taking so long to repair the damned thing.

Back from various and sundried things.  Got packages shipped, did some other stuff, and am not seeing Little Fish this evening due to a communications error.  I'll see it next weekend.

Like Larry, I am distrustful of DotM and am also not convinced it's a woman.  It was the post that drew "her" out (and which I made for a specific reason) that was so telling.  Three posts later, "she" was outski but keeps returning to see if I'm making similar posts.  I can, of course, just for fun.

I was supposed to get Ratatouille today, but that got pushed until tomorrow - a shame as I would have enjoyed that tonight.
