We knew that DW Betsy has a sense of humor. I trust it is in good stead.   :)

She would have to being married to DR JMK ;)

Cillaliz, go to the movie.

If I get up early, I may be able to do all of it tomorrow AND see a movie....or I may sit in my chair...not sure yet.  I did buy a little roast beef today

Jane and JMK, is the Teeter Hang-up one of those inversion things? I bought a BioMat, which is a large infrared heating pad, which feels WONDERFUL on my back. It's also excellent for my circulation. There are smaller, cheaper units available, too. The intrared heat penetrates much more than a standard heating pad and it's a "nicer" heat. Hard to explain, but it sure feels good. These old bones (mine) need all the help they can get.

Good Evening!

It's raining in New York City. And it's been raining in NYC since a little after Noon. Ugh.

Hmmm, I'm watching the show about Casey Anthony.  One of her lawyers is a good friend of mine and I know the other

DR Elmore, I thought it was really nice of them.  Edith has said many times that I should call Chris if I need help, but I've never really felt right about it.  Of course, I'm not good at asking anyone for help.

Me neither.

Same here, but I did ask someone for help this week.

Yes, that's what I was thinking of. It made me sick--something to do with my neck injuries, I think. I bought a foam wedge and put it under one end of my BioMat, so my legs are elevated.

Other then RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK and parts of CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE 3RD KIND, I have not seen any Speilberg movies, it would appear. And since I have never bothered to see RAIDERS a second time and never had a desire to see the all of CLOSE ENCOUNTERS...well...there are some films of his that I am sure I will see one day.

Mike, I suggest if you want to see CLOSE ENCOUNTERS, see the original cut of the film.  I think the last DVD I saw had three different versions.  The Directors Cut, or whatever they called it took a lot of the magic and the humor out of the film.  They added a lot of magic at the end, but I don't think it really needed it.

I use a Battle Creek Thermophore heating pad which is electric.  It is different from regular heating pads as it delivers moist heat.  I have let it get too hot a number of times.

How does the infrared pad deliver heat?

I used a foam wedge for awhile & gave up on it.

If it isn't electric how does it heat up?  Something I read anyway said it isn't electric, is yours?
