Welcome back, Jane - how was your trip?

In case you missed it in last week's posts, I made a reservation at the Comfort Inn-Midtown for October 2-8!

Coffee ice cream and sauerkraut?  I think not.

(Although I did joke with a customer today who was buying hot dogs and chocolate chip cookie dough.  I asked her if she was attempting some variation on pigs in a blanket.  She laughed.)

If I had sauerkraut I would want brats..... not BRATS :)

Coffee Ice cream does sound good right now.....

Thanks Ginny, the trip was great.  The wedding was perfect and beautiful, even the wait staff said so.  Check out the location, www.robinsonranchgolf.com .  The views were lovely.

The father of the bride gave such a wonderful toast I was sobbing.  It was very emotional and we have been such good close friends (I’m including Keith) since we were fifteen.

Bruce, Ron (to everyone else, Ron is the uncle of the bride & hight school classmate of Bruce) said he never received an email from you regarding Deceit.  He was very disappointed to have missed it.

How is your poorly back Mr Ron?

Some better, thanks.

Why...I can very nearly almost stand straight up if you give me about seven minutes and something to lean against.

It is the "Sandlapper" state.

Finished with the Brothers Grimm tonight, and was pleased to see the film did have an intermission. Makes a good breaking point to dub this over to two DVDs. Bob Merrill's songs are simple but fun, and Leigh Harline's underscore is magical.

I thought South Carolina (where I'm also from) was the Palmetto State. Haven't lived there in a long time, so I could certainly be wrong.

THE SOPRANOS had a very hyper episode this week, I thought. The stories kept crosscutting much too quickly back and forth for my taste.

And I was not pleased to see Vito come back into the show. I was hoping with him running far away, that he'd simply try to start a new life and leave the old one behind so that we'd never know about him ever again. I guess that's not in the cards.

HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER. Well, I will last out the season with this show, but if there is anything of interest on opposite it next year, I will not be returning, I don't think. It just doesn't make me laugh or even smile very often.

I figured out the blindfold/blind girl angle early and also figured out there had to be some kind of easy passage from one room to another if someone was getting in without breaking any locks or windows.

Again, the DA doubts Allison because . . . . . . ?

I'll have tonight's OLD CHRISTINE and CSI: MIAMI to watch tomorrow, but I'm thinking for my DVD of the day, I may pick something very cheesy like BURNT OFFERINGS to watch.

Well, the date is official.  I talked to my surgeon's office this morning, and we decided that I will have my hip replacement revision on Monday, May 22, 2006; at Tacoma General Hospital, which just happens to be located in Tacoma!

Now all I have to do is think of a way out of this whole thing.

I added the date to my calendar to be able to wish you good thoughts the night before. And how ironic that a friend of mine is coming here to stay for a couple of days so I can assit him in getting to the hospital for out patient surgery on that same day.

Matt, I know that you study up on these things, so I was wondering what you think about the rumored big shocker for this season's finale and for next season on "24"?  Do you think there is any truth to it?
