Advice for the day:

If you have a lot of tension and you get a headache, do what it says on the aspirin bottle:

"Take two aspirin" and "Keep away from children."

That is an interesting Body Link, DR BEN.

My first question for ASK BK day....what is your favorite museum you have ever been to....and what was your favorite exhibit?

I like MOMA.  But the most fun I've ever had at a museum was in LA at the Temporary Contempory for the Red Grooms exhibit.

Question for BK:

Speaking of DVD audio commentaries, what was the most interesting one you ever listened to?  Which one was the most informative or juicy or contained a "I don't believe he/she said that!" moment?

I have to admit that I rarely take the time to listen audio commentaries.  I did watch WHITE CHRISTMAS with Rosemary Clooney.  Not very illuminating, but Ms. Clooney was just fun to listen to.

The truth is I rarely listen to commentaries - I find most of them annoying.  I did enjoy one of the John Frankenheimer commentaries, but can't remember which one.

They must have been having a server issue earlier - I had no problem getting on just now.  I don't understand how all this works and why it usually only affects the discussion board.  I think one of the reasons is that we have those revolving ads at the top (a nature of the software) and I think their server gets mass spammed every now and then, causing overload.

Good morning, DR's. Just checking in, as I finish loading up all my stuff. I think I'll hit the road around 9:30 or even 10 - after the worst of the 405 traffic smooths out. Probably camp somewhere north of Sacramento this evening - one great thing about this little Honda hybrid - I can go 600 miles on one tank of gas... that's usually about 9 hours, so I don't stop once I'm going, until I'm just TIRED!!! Well, when I have time - and this time I do have lots of time - I take time to spend time at various and sun-dried rest stops. Get out, take a nice walk, stretch my legs. So I'll do that today and tomorrow.

I love that most of the motels these days have wireless internet service! So, I'll be checking back tonight. Bye kidz. Enjoy the day.

Bruce - letting go of limiting ideas is one of your great strengths, and it has always been an inspiration to me to watch you drop the burden of the past and leap into the present. The other night, it was very apparent that your new play is a new kind of work from you, something so deep and true - even if it is flavored with lots of good laughs - and THE PLAY deserves the best you can bring to it. Breakthrough, Babe-alicious! Sad will pass. See you in a couple of weeks.

However, I did talk to Laurie Mitchell last night and there IS going to be a reunion of the cast of ATTACK OF THE PUPPET PEOPLE, evidently, in October in NJ....I do not know any more yet...Laurie couldn't recall the name of the event, only that someone named Kevin is running it and that she is invited.

It would be nice if it ran at the same time everyone was going to be in NY...then I could hang out with the puppet people, skip over the state line and hang out with the HHW people, and just have a grand time!

Maybe some HHWers would come and meet some Puppet People!!

Only if they promise not to attack

Dan (the Man) I have seen that mega pack of TV shows before and it is a good buy...unfortunately I already have many of those shows on other DVDs.

If you like some sword and sandal beefcake, and who doesn't, here is a 50 movie DVD megapack that just came out last week...WARRIORS 50 movie megapack.

DR Matt, it's being shown again at 11:30 PM tonight.  I just set my Tivo to record it through the Tivo website.

Thank you so much, DR Dan (tM). That will be the perfect time since prime time will have ended and the DVR will be free to record without interruption or competition.

DR MBarnum, I wonder if those beefcake epics are going to be full frame versions of the films or will they at least be letterboxed in their original aspect ratios?

I had a photo of DR Sandra like that, back when we were fostering kittens. There were SEVEN that slept all over her. They had been found in a box at the side of the road.

At about 50 cents a movie you probably can't be too particular. LOL! I would guess it is a mix.

I expended more calories than I took in.

That problem can be solved if you pick up a doughnut or two (or a nicely buttered Danish would do the trick).

[song cue:]

Say, have you met my friend Alene?
Alene, the Annie Hall Alien.
Last night she abducted me an' inserted a probe.
Now I'm missing a piece of my frontal lobe.
I woke up this morning on the lawn in my robe.
Have you met Alene, the Alien?
