I'm gonna get laundry going.  Otherwise, my brain is out of commission.

Here in Pennsylvania, we pat our puppies on their po-pos frequently.  It's a sign of affection.

My only regret of this past week is that I was not able to introduce DR Ginny and Richard to the Joys of Levain.  Next time.  :)

I hear tell they mail order.... ;D

Wasn't there a song "Don't step on my po-po" - or did I imagine that one?

You mean Rockin' Sydney's  "Don't Mess with my Toot-Toot"?

I know they do, but there's nothing like that first time when the cookie has just been pulled off the cooling racks...  C'est formidable!

Well, now that I have waited until it is 109 degrees, I should make a run to the post office for stamps.

Was there a song about jelly that had the word po-po in it, or am I remembering wrong?

jelly on my toes ...

Can't find the lyrics to "Feet Up Pat Him On the Po-Po" (Bob Merrill) on the NET but there are links to the song if anyone cares to listen.

When I came upstairs at 4 p.m., my mail had no yet been delivered. I'm heading down now to see if it has arrived.

Speaking of things not being delivered...last Tuesday, I wrote this:
Quote
I'm leaving.  I need to get something to eat before I go to rehearsal and I need to pick up a vest for my costume...but I think I'll get the vest tomorrow.  I ordered one on-line and THEN found this one locally (it's "gently used") for a little less than HALF the price.  It doesn't matter what the vest looks like for the show.  I just need to wear a vest and look like a waiter.  I phoned the on-line place today and they said that it's already been shipped. :P I will be able to return it, but I won't get shipping refunded. :-\ I hate it when that happens.  Even with the shipping though, the "gently used" vest will still be about half the price of the shipped one!  It's worth it.  I don't think I'll ever need a tux vest, unless I'm in another show where I need a tux vest. ::)

I actually bought the gently used vest from the local tux shop that Tuesday but today is now Monday...a full SEVEN days after ordering the on-line vest...and it STILL hasn't arrived!  I paid $10 extra for the 3-day shipping and it didn't arrive in three days (I should've gotten it last Thursday)!  Of course, I'm very happy about this because I was planning on returning it anyway, and now I'll be able to get the extra $10 back because it didn't arrive when they said it would!  So, I only will have to forfeit the regular $8.50 shipping! ;D

FYI, the on-line vest with shipping cost $88.45 and with tax, the Tux Shop vest only cost $32.47!  A big savings...even with having to pay the shipping both ways. :D

DR Elmore, the Toyland robbery sux!!!  Hopefully, there will be a savvy (and hunky)  police detective on the case who will quickly nab the perps.

Okay, I'm happy that another musical is being made into a movie (and I love Nine), but come on...when will they cast actual singers for roles in actual musicals?? :-\

BrettySpaghetti blew in one day, posted like mad, then disappeared. Too bad -- we all enjoyed his company.

Yes we did.  It was fun to see him on youtube-if only I had realized that was him ;D

Good evening to all of the lovely crazies and studlies.....

And --- WOW !!!!  What a treat and a surprise to see the shining, beaming, love-filled happy smile of DR Jason B. looking out at me from this here site.

I will admit, several of us did try to lay just a little "Jewish guilt" on dear Jason over several days of visiting.  But it was done very gently.... and with love.... and dessert... and a waiter.....

And yes, Baby Bratton, your new and improved "po-po" is indeed even cuter!
