Thank you for the bird photos, Tomovoz.

I hope you all enjoyed the feral kitty photos. It is very slow when it is 110F outside.

I had a wonderful week visiting with all the loverly HHW contingent here in the Big Snapple and, I dare say, was spoiled to bits. I'm very appreciative...

I hope you're all well...I'll do what I can to come by every now and again to say hello...!

OMG!!!! Have you ever lost weight!!!! Congrats, good to see you and I hope you come back often

I am decluttering my closet. I have come to the realization that I will never fit into my skinny clothes again. A charity truck is coming tomorrow.

Hmm you'd think your skinny clothes would be small enough to fit in a car... ;)

DR Elmore I'm also sorry to hear your news. Vibes ~~~~~~~~~

DR jane yes i liked the fireworks. It was so cute to listen to the kids behind us. They were commenting on every firework ("oh look at that big one" ... "i like that one best" ...). They were sweet.

Although there were some totally inconsiderate people. Before the fireworks there was a cabaret dance/singing show.  And we had gotten there at 7:30pm. Well at 9:30pm some people decided to just stand right in front of everyone who was sitting (there were thousands of people at this event). These two men even had the nerve to stand right in front of us with 2 kids on their shoulders (blocking the entire stage). Luckily the man in front of me went and put in him in his place.

There were probably 50 people who stood right up at the stage thinking they should just arrive when the show started and block everyone's view.  I've gone to this show quite a few times and this is the first time i've seen this happen like this.

Don't get me started on T-shirts. I now have show shirts from at LEAST 17 different shows, and for many of those shows I have 2-8 different shirts in various styles and sizes. I have 8 AVENUE Q t-shirts alone!

Ah, the joys of working on the Broad Way...

Some day they would make a really cool quilt.

DR Elmore, so sorry about the break in. Glad it wasn't someone who knew the worth of the original score and didn't take the time to open all the boxes. Hope that you recover all your data....

Today was a pretty quiet day. I had coffee, went to the office for a few minutes, went to the dentist, shopped for office supplies and went to a great sale where I got 2 skirts for $8 each!   Cool beans

You mean, we should have tackled him to the ground when he was buying that box o'chocolate?

Yup ;D  I did my part in Portland by sharing a chocolate cupcake, or something, with him.  Better we both only ate half.  If it has tasted as yummy as it looked I'm sure I would have purchased a couple more to go.

DR Jane...you need some heft to you, to counterbalance Sherlock!

LOL-The bit of heft has helped.  What I really need is muscle, unfortunately my body doesn't build muscle easily.

Yay and Hoo-ray! Tonight's episode of THE CLOSER is off to a rollicking start.

Having to fumigate - I mean, clean - after DR MBarnum's exit has got my apartment looking pretty good, to boot

DR Cillaliz, it's really hard to sell a score for BABES IN TOYLAND on the corner for drug money.  I just worry that I'll come back tomorrow and see signs of another break-in attempt for the LADY OF THE SLIPPER score!

I am now waiting for word that my grand nephew has been born. SunDee went into labor last night and has had a very long day.  The word about 30 minutes ago was any minute.  Since I'm number 2 on my niece, Samantha's telephone tree, (mom is #1) I'm expecting a call at any minute

Just heard from him, but so far there is no word on his mother. We will light candles this evening and keep him in our thoughts.

Back from a productive meeting and one of the single worst meals I've ever eaten - I'm so nauseous now I could throw up on the floor.  We met at a place called Conrad's in Glendale - I had a salad - that was okay, and then a Chicken Caesar wrap that was grotesque, but I ate it anyway, and then, to get the taste out of my mouth, I had some rice custard pudding - no good either and way too many useless calories.

Of course, Jason will be auditioning for The Brain in a few weeks.  And Jason receommended a costume designer to me and I liked him very much and am deciding tomorrow on whether to just hire him.  The good news about those kinds of positions is that I was mostly very happy with the costumes at LACC and they can see photos, so they'll see the sort of thing that worked for me.

And I'm happy to report that Donald's comment on the radio show has been, according to him, misinterpreted.  He's just not sure when he's going to get back or when the next show will go up - and while we do have a couple of things to work out, I'm confident that in the next six weeks we'll be right back on track.
