With Bryan I began having contractions on Sunday, he was born Thursday evening.

With Craig I was sick for hours before the contractions began in earnest on Wednesday.  He was also a Thursday baby.

Both deliveries were induced since I was only having false labor.

They broke her water and gave her something to induce labor as well as an epidural several hours ago

Craig may have taken half the time but he hurt almost twice as much, and I didn't know it could get worse.

I call the whole thing 10 months of misery, figuring the pain doesn't stop for another month.

Okay, THE CLOSER is over! It was a very funny episode which was nice after the tensions of the first two this season.  And now to bed. Tomorrow morning at 9. I see my doctor for the results of blood and eye tests, the to a locksmith to make copies, if possible, of the new padlock keys, and then to the office.

I'm listening to Henry Mancini's brilliant score to Wait Until Dark, recently (after forty years) released on CD.

I'm sincerely hoping that LACC has saved Alet's wigs and costume.  If not, we have the photos and it shouldn't be difficult to recreate.  This costume designer is also a wig stylist, another plus in his favor.

It was a bit more than 20 pounds, not much.  Recently a report was released vindicating (that more wasn't needed) my weight gain as appropriate.  I never ate as healthy as when I was pregnant.

Was the cat in this episode?  Last week it was only in a photo on her desk, and it wasn't a very good photo.  Edi, you might mention that to the appropriate person. ;)

Bruce, it hasn't been that long.  What else would they have done with the costumes?

Here's another water tower photo. I helped with this one. It looks a little different now, there have been many yellow peace signs added to it by the original artist, DF Paul.   I never answered td's question, I think it was td.  The big murals like this one aren't painted over, the real graffiti art, some of which is really good, is painted over and they do it again. At some point I expect that everything not an official mural will be painted over.

Cilla-Thanks for posting another water tower.  Do you have any more, they are fun to see.

Are you saying the water towers are unofficial?  They are too good to be painted over.

I know kitty is in an episode 2 weeks from now---the one with French Stewart, which is a funny one, too. Next week's episode is very dark and suspenseful.

The picture of kitty on her desk is the one they used for the flyer when they thought kitty was lost. I like it---it's sort of a funny photo of kitty reaching out towards the camera.

Maybe they need one of our resident DR's who are good at wildlife documentation!

You never know with LACC - they destroyed every component of our set almost immediately - that is ridiculousness of the highest order.
