DP Colin and I watched the first episode of "Deadwood" last night.  I doubt it will ever shown on TV here.  I know DR Matt is a fan.  Great production values but is that "language" really necessary  to establish a Lawlessness"look".  Was the use of such language really part of that time?

I'm a huge fan of the show as well.

It looks like, in addition to our two guests of honor from Georgia, it'll be Ben and Ant, Elmore, Rodzinski, vixmom and vixter, and Skip and me, and Toby and Dylan, for brunch on Sunday.  Total ten people plus two corgis.

Have you appointed the offical group-gathering photographer?

You can imagine the howls from the board if we get "Gee, I took my camera but forgot to take pictures"? (You could have Toby and Dylan stand in for you and Skip :))

Are the guests aware of the "you better drop some food" house rule?

So how do I use PayPal other than ordering through Kritzerland?  That's the only time I've used it.  Do I have to set up an account?

DR Ginny, go to your Paypal account page and click on "send money." You can enter the email  address BK sent you as the payee.

But I don't think I have an account - can I use PayPal without setting one up?

And, DR der Brucer, regarding Anna Russell:  the video is good to have.  It is just unfortunate that it was recorded toward the end of her performing career, rather than at its prime.  :(

I remember her albums when I was "in my prime" - the late 50s!

In college we had dueling vocal satirists:

Anna Russell and Tom Lehrer!

If you've used paypal before, and you need to log in, then you have a Paypal account, whether you pay by credit card or bank transfer, I would assume.  Go to Paypal.com and see if you need to log in.  If so, you'l find your page.  The go to "send money."

In local news: The daughter of the police chief was stopped for DUI. Do you suppose the charges will be dropped?

<----- seem to be a little bitter, still.

Pepsi has not been able to really make much of a dent in the Australian soft drink (soda?) market.  It is sold at KFC stores but otherwise I am not really aware of it being advertised. I do not watch much commercial TV (or much TV in general) but am still aware of coca-cola advertisements.

An aussie freind sent me some CDs and DVDs of several Aussie programs and left the commercials in and I did not notice any either.

Ginny, I don't think you have to have an account to send money - I think you can just click on "send money" - but even if you do, to set up the account is free, and I don't believe you have to have a cc on file.

Thanks for the review of FTM, Elmore. I hope to see that this weekend. I know what you mean about needing a rest. Sometimes one is looking around for anything to do, but lately, I have not had a lot of free time. My cousin from Santa Barbara has been living at the apt. for the last couple weeks while he does his internship for some photog. His wife is coming into town tonight.

So, does that mean you will kick your cousin out, and keep his wife?
