Page Four New Chick-Fil-A ad campaign dance:

Oh, you can kiss eat me on a Monday, a Monday,
A Monday is very very good.
Or you can kiss eat me on a Tuesday, a Tuesday
A Tuesday, in fact I wish you would.
Or you can kiss eat me on a Wednesday, a Thursday,
A Friday and Saturday is best.
But never, never on a Sunday, a Sunday,
A Sunday, 'cos that's my day of rest.

Do you think they'd go for it?

Sounds like a theme song on one of my videos!

I saw DR MusicGuy's new home, which will be awesome when he removes 1984 from it and adds his own special touches.

And I was licked by Sugar.

Well, Liza may not be your cup o'tea (or other foodstuff), but she's all over CASTRECL right now.  So there.   ;D

I won't read those posts until tomorrow after 12 noon (I get the digest version)

DR SINGDAW is correct - it is THE FANTASTICKS that I am rehearsing right now.  THE SUNSHINE BOYS has one more session of auditions tonight, which I will be unable to attend.

The director said that we have Stage Combat and Dance tonight, but I reminded him that I had to have 24 hours notice before choreography rehearsal....and have heard nothing since.

Scary.....but I do have my Indian Braid Wig and my Indian headband with two feathers.

I have never been more prepared....

Loved the article that DR SINGDAW linked about Gypsy.

And the Broadway news about Miss Cindy Williams is very exciting and intriguing.

Good Afternoon!

Well, that was short and sweet.  I ended up getting down to Ripley-Grier around 12:40, and since people had already signed up, we started a couple of minutes early.  And then when the monitor walked in the room at 1:35, and said, "That's all."... That was all.  So, I hung out a bit while they danced some people just in case we had some latecomers.  But there were no latecomers.  So, now I'm home.  And, best of all, I'm still on the clock until 6:00!  :)

So, he'll be taking into 1988?

...And the rain continues here in NYC.  It wasn't too annoying while walking around downtown, however, with all the scaffolding up around every other building, there were lots of little waterfalls here and there.  I'm just glad it's not windy and stormy, otherwise, we'd that pesky leak in our downstairs bathroom would probably return.

DR JOSE - my friend Vickie would like Ms Lee's autograph, too, if possible.

She was the person who first told me about this show she had seen in New York about DANCERS!!!  And she bought me one of those Brass Ticket Key Holders that was a ticket to the show....still have it!

Ticket Price printed on it:  $15.00

Hmm... So, since I have a couple of unexpectedly free hours... Hmm...  I guess I could take care of a few things on my "Will Do List" a bit ahead of schedule.  Or not.  -Frankly, I could use a good nap, and I think I shall partake of one in a little while.

Now I forget who said it in those interviews.....but it makes perfect sense....and now I will never forget it:

GYPSY has the old show business snap and sparkle from Jule Styne and the darker future of show business from Stephen Sondheim.

Or something to that effect.

And, Thank You, once again.  It's a beautiful picture of Cady Huffman.  I do hope that she was given a copy of the original.

Naps are never wasted time....

What makes a home 1984?

I guess I should just look around a bit....oh....okay.

OK.  I'm going to sit in the put-in rehearsal tomorrow afternoon - with orchestra - so that should provide me with enough time to get Ms. Lee to sign a few Playbills.  -And I think I still have one of those ticket key chains too.

JMK, you may not get a DVD before August 6th. First Run is still working on them, trying to get them ready for their street date at the end of August. But I hope you can put your name in the pot for when it is ready!

OH!  And we do have callbacks tomorrow for the initial auditions we held today.  And since we didn't really call that many people back, we'll be starting at 10:00, and should be done by 10:45.  -And I'll still be on the clock till 2:00!  -And that's why I love The Mouse! :)

You are THE BEST.

I saw A CHORUS LINE in May, 1985.....for the first time....

Can it really be 22 years ago?  ::)

Mickey is made of money, that's for sure.

Just ask Annette who sued to get out of her Mouseketeer contract, but lost.  Of course Walt then renegotiated with her (she had acquired an agent between 1955 and 1958, imagine that).....and by 1964 she was making a whopping $1500 per week with a guarantee of 40 weeks of employment per annum.
