Listening to music.  Tried to watch the new Haunting of Hill House but, you know, it's like every other Netflix thing.  So, I watched half the old The Haunting.

Yesterday, as I was waiting for Paul McCartney to take the stage, I saw on Facebook the sad news that my friend, Bob, had died. I have written about him in the past. He was a chef who had both Parkinson's and Lyme diseases. He had just turned 50 a few months ago. Word is that he had a heart attack.

I am sorry for the loss of your friend.

Oh, no. :( My condolences to you and his family, John.

Congrats to TCB and George !   George, you mentioned a PNW get-together.  I would love to go if it works out.

Thanks, Kevin!  That would be so cool!

He is all black, and his name is Leonard.

Will you call him Lenny? like his Bernstein namesake?

Or how about Lenny Bruce? ;)

When I was looking for a brother for Annabelle, my two choices were a creamsicle or a tuxedo.  This morning one of the cat rescue agencies was looking for someone to foster this baby, 4-week-old Emma (my paternal grandmother's name).  I almost said yes, so I'd get my tuxedo, but I'm terrified to being another cat into our lives without knowing its FELV/FIV status, and I'm not making enough at the moment to support another.

So cute!

No chip.

I guess you are Leonard's mama now!  Did he get his shots?  Send photos.

Congrats on your new kitty, Laura!  And Yes!  Pictures!

Yesterday's concert was wonderful. Paul McCartney plays for 2:15. While his voice was ragged, his stamina was incredible. He's 76 and acted decades younger.

Nice!  And Stephen Stills last week also had a ragged voice, but he and Judy Collins also put on a great concert.

I got sun burnt on my hands and neck. So, my paws look like lobster claws.

I'm getting to work on a parody timed to TCB's show, called "Yes, Virginia, We Do Have Lobster Claws."

Can't wait to read it, Fred!

Hi, Jane.
How are you doing? I imagine you're quite relieved and feeling more optimistic.

I was until it took so long to get my PT appointment which made me a little nervous the delay effect the final results.  I hope the therapist is excellent.  I keep telling myself it just give my bones more time to mend.  It all takes a long time.  It will take 4-6 months for the swelling and discoloration to be gone  :o

Yes, I am extremely relieved and feeling more optimistic :)

Great news, Jane!

I know we won't rehearse every night, but having that much time to memorize lines will be MOST helpful!
