Good morning, all! I have little to report. I don't know what may be the current Gilfry apartment status at the moment, but I do hope all was resolved favorably yesterday, I've about five chapters to finish my reread of Balzac's COUSIN BETTE, and I'm thinking about PERE GORIOT or EUGENIE GRANDET next, and I'm off to Toyland to continue the Montgomery & Stone trackdown: I wish the Institute would give us a keyboard for the office, but I suppose replacing the stolen computers would be a wiser decision. I've also got to lay out Cason's number in a new key and add the dance break in the next two days.

Going to teach my niece and her fiance some steps for the first "dance" at their October wedding....hopefully it won't take too long.

Then prepare for the board meeting this evening.

Exciting....

What color, Cillaliz?

Well, there was a downpour that started about 6:00 AM and it's still raining, so it won't be today, but it's white now and I'll prime it with a coat of white and then decide if I want to go to another color

Don't know, but I need to get going to breakfast.  I had planned to work outside all day today, but the rain has totally changed my plans.  That means time to scrub the basement room....yuck. I have been dreading it, but once it's done I can start moving on my plans.   Oh, and I can pick out the color and go buy the paint while there is still a $5.00 rebate per gallon.

I'm up, I'm up.  I was up much earlier, but refused to let that happen and so just laid in bed like so much fish until I fell asleep again, which I did.  Then I got up at nine, refused to actually leave the bed, then fell asleep until ten.

Good morning!

When I got up to get the newspaper, I was greeted with the first cool morning we've had in a month and a half. The themrmometer said 63. Tomorrow should be an equally cool morning. Sadly, the five day forecast is for temps to be climbing back to the mid-90s, and only one more cool morning before the heat returns anew.

With such cool morning weather, I hauled out the lawnmower and mowed the front and most of the back yard. Glad that's done for awhile. How I hate mowing grass. I'm thinking maybe next spring I will finally break down and hire a yard service to do it.

Certainly enjoyed the photos on earlier pages. I just got a new computer monitor (LCD-HD widescreen monitor), and they showed up beautifully.

I know I'll be watching some THAT GIRL episodes from the third season box set. And I think I'll go ahead and start on GREY'S ANATOMY as well so I can alternate a disc of comedy with a disc of drama, at least for today.

(If you're all wondering, I'm attempting a sort-of mini-frenzy as Mr. P's BD present since I know he loves nothing more than reading through a bunch of my gratuitous posts.)

This one's for you, Mr P! You'll just have to pretend it's wrapped up in fancy BD paper with a giant bow on top...

Shall I jog?  Shall I take a long walk?  These are the questions that roam around the windmills of my mind.  Will Rodzinski call to have a get-together?  Is it get-together weather?

I'm officially a NYMF member -- down to the wire -- my MO -- but joined Aug. 31 and got all of my Brain tickets (plural because I'm seeing every Brain performance while I'm in The Big Apple). I'm a Brainiac -- and proud of it!

Jose's did the trick?  Is that a reservoir reference?

I KNEW someone would pick up on that! But, given that this is HHW and in fun, I don't censor much now--I just LET IT RIP!!

In fact, I think it's rather fun to throw the bait out and see who takes it--and with what reply!

A little too much info, Sis -- or as we say on HHW -- most unseemly (for a lady to admit!)  ;)
