I will not walk around my condo in the nude this evening.

Disturbing image.

Very disturbing image.

Of course, it could be worse.  You could be walking around the outside of your condo in the nude this evening.

Visiting chocolate lab Cody is a dear, but he does BARK his head off at, seemingly, nothing.

Very un-seemingly.

Repairman Jack = sort of Tom of Finland meets Bob The Builder.
Hey, something I can read with the grandlads!

Well I would read it. I've always enjoyed Tom of Finland's "writing".
And I do have my Bob The Builder CD.

Jane, we went to a slightly higher elevation. The sycamores are native in a higher elevation and riparian area.

Thanks Jane. Indeed it is.

The toxicity of his medications is the major issue at present. He is "off" most medications to give his liver some recovery time!

Not necessarily something you want to see on a sampler in a vet's waiting room, though...

DR Tomovoz, do you know if that is actually David Campbell on the left, or just a model?

You would call either of those guys "just" a model?

Thanks, sing, for you good wishes. After the window washer left I laid down and fell asleep for two hours. I needed that!  And I'm pleased to hear that your physical went well.

Thanks, Jose, for the CNN link earlier.

Tomovoz, your friend Peter does appear much better than I expected. Hope this continues.

I should start getting dinner on the table.

Battered cod, baked french fried potatoes, and zucchini fritters.

(Yes, it is fish!)

This is one of two CDs that I wanted to buy from www.middle8.com but my debit card wouldn't work. :( I have since found this on www.footlight.com (I thought that they were totally closing) for half the price...but I haven't ordered it, yet.

And I've sent der B my second list of books to order from Jessica's Biscuit.

One of them is by Ogden Nash, a volume titled Food.

I'm thinking/hoping the younger grandlad might like it.

After all, anyone who can rhyme "A little talcum / is always walcum" has to have something good to say about food and such.

Yes...that's what I'm talking about, too.  Rehydration fluids I gave Miss Vickie when she was dehydrated were called "lactated ringers."

I dreaded giving Miss Vickie those treatments because I was always afraid I would hurt her.  But she always sat and allowed it and she always felt much better afterward.

Ok, the vets have always just referred to them as subcutaneous fluids. I wasn't familiar with the lactated ringers term
