DR Danise, whatever you do, don't forget to breathe.  I know I forget to when I stress out.

Thank you, DtM.  I will try to remember that.  I am drinking the Arizona Stress tea as well.  I do think it helps.

Gotta run.  It's 3 and I have to run home and take care of the dogs.  I might mow the front lawn like I had planned to do this weekend as well.

I'm sure some DRs remember the stunt David Merrick pulled - don't remember which show - where he didn't like the critic's reviews, so he went out and found ordinary folks with the same names as the critics, and used their [positive] pull-quotes for his print campaign.

It's funny that you consider that a success.  While they did rectify your problem as soon as you called, APRIL 11TH was 3 WEEKS AGO.  That is completely unacceptable! (although i would have called the day after the item was scheduled to be delivered).

Surely it was an AMAZON success - they responded promptly when notified of delivery problems. If we expect AMAZON to actively monitor every USPS shipment, you can expect to pay a lot more!

Well, I have hundreds of applications for wanna-be Supreme Court and Court of Appeals law clerks to go through, so I best get going on that.

Work?  ROTFLMAO!

I know a hospital bed won't even fit in our living room.  I don't even think they could get it in the front door.  We almost could't get the new fridge in the front door--they had to take the door off.

There should be little problem getting a hospital bed through the front door (removing doors from hinges is, however, a standard procesure. The many of the beds have telescoping legs to aid in moving.

As for A Chorus Line...  I'll just be sitting in the pit, auditing, visiting, observing, etc.

Sounds like the steam room at a Club Baths ::)

In the case of A Chorus Line, that's probably not too far off the mark!

I have seen Mr. Graae performed several times over the years and I have never heard him sing that song.

Didn't he sing it last year at the LACC cabaret series?

Jane - Thanks so much.  Even though that hotel was very disappointing for much of the rest of the trip, it was a very special May sunrise for me.  And other than the hotel, it was a most enjoyable trip.

Not much to tell.  We were up most of the night because something they gave Mom didn't agree with her tummy.  So I didn't go to work.

I had a little drama myself.  I didn't feel right last night and worse this morning.  Kinda sick to my stomach as well but worse that funny pain I sometimes get in my chest and down my left arm and in the palm of my hand.  The nurse took my BP but it was fine.  It's stress.  I know.  They gave me some OJ and I laid down for a little bit then I felt a bit better.

Don't worry--I'm fine.  I promise.
So I'm a little stressed but not to worryl  :)  I'll handle it.

It's my party and I'll worry if I want to!  But enough about me, DR Danise.  Your mother's in capable hands and you need to take care of yourself for the time being.

Spoo! I didn't mean "incapable"!

I hope this May improves.

At least Keith's mother went home yesterday.

DR Nursie, that's good news!  Will she be well taken care of?

This book just got a wonderful pan on the Cast Recording list.  It sounds as if the writer needs to remove her head from her derriere to write intelligently about musicals.  I gather it's based on watching filmed musicals as oppsed to knowing the original stage versions.
