He's giving you the gaslight treatment!

Jrand, I had my eye on a two-panel Japanese Young Girls of Rochefort poster - the only decent poster on the film.  And it is MINE.

Vindication is mine!

Isn't vindication an act of vindictiveness?

Haven't heard from my potential food partner, so maybe that won't be happening.

I spy me a Michael Shayne.  Maybe he's finished that book he was reading.

Apparently, Mr. Shayne never left the Index page.  I tell you, those Floridians.

Got an e-mail from a gal who was in the high school class ahead of me - she just read the Kritzer books and I just love getting e-mails like hers - where she not only talks about the books, but tells me her memories of places and events.

How about A SHAYNER MICHAEL?  That could be the title of something or other.

JMK - Your friend Brooks Ashmanskas does a great rendition of a song Amanda Green wrote with Skip called "If You Leave Me" (lyric by Amanda. music by Skip).

The song is on Amanda's CD, Put a Little Love in Your Mouth, only there it's sung by Jesse Tyler Ferguson, whose rendition is very different, but also quite wonderful.

OK...I wasn't going to mention this but I have been very depressed about it all day so I thought I'd depress everyone else here.

The little black cat cat whose owner abandoned it is no more...

If I ever meet the owner...they will rue the day.

Did anyone get the episodes of the British television THE INVISIBLE MAN?  They are a bit pricey, but I remember it fondly, especially the wacky telephone conversations with the receiver waving around in the air.  ::)

I got season 1, but haven't sprung yet for season 2.

DR td, I'm a bit crazed with Bruce's show as well as the PHI job - my co-editor Tom Murray returns from London on Thursday and we have lots to accomplish -  but I am certainly around.

Excellent!  I was hoping that you'd be around for the weekend!

MR BK....your acquisition sounds delicious.  The Japanese movie posters I have seen seem to have MUCH brighter and more brilliant colors than the US ones.....do they use a different printing process?

Is FJL planning a little hainsies/kimlets do?  I should think Thursday or Friday eve would be good, as I'm not sure how late I'll be at Town Hall on Saturday.  Let me know.

I'm very fond of Japanese posters - one of my prized possessions is an original Japanese poster for Kurosawa's High and Low.  I have several other interesting ones.

It's a no brainer for me. Ty was the most beautiful man ever to have graced the silver screen.
I second that emotion.
